These 2 are beautiful to watch ... literally poetry in motion. Lieke is so alert & taking it all in. Her ears point perfectly at each other & you can see the wonder in her eyes. She is so smart she stuck her leg out like she's saying, "HEY Mem ... look at all this GREEN everywhere!!" These 2 hooked me as a follower. I miss you my sweet Lieke. Love seeing these older videos and having the chance to see my beloved Lieke when she was so small. Her little whinny calls to me. Loved watching her reaction to the grass!

What a distinct pattern in Lieke's foal fur. So cute how foals stop at the grass not sure if they should step on it.

What a precious little filly. She overcame her fear of the green stuff and, enlargered her world by exploring new and different terrain. So much fun to watch the "Wee Ones" learn new things!!

@@FriesianHorses They are so beautiful, the fosls are so sweet, all long legs and catching them het their bearings makes my heart sad. I want to touch one so much, I miss the feel (uncle used to have Arabians) I miss riding so much. I model so much, I rarely get the time. Maybe when I'm 26 (retirenent age, lol) lame when you're'too old' but I digress, I could watch videos all day of this amazingly beautiful horse. Maybe I'll buy one someday (how much are they?) A girl can dream :)

The little newborns walk like they are gliding on air! Yes, it looks like she is dancing on her tip-toes! How precious she is! They are so delicate and fragile looking when they are new!

She is starting to explore a little and be brave, then runs back to Mama for protection. Mama is teaching the filly to run and develop her confidence.

Welcome to the big wide world, little Lieke! So many exciting new things happened that day, she must have taken a long nap when she returned to the stable!

That is so cute when she comes to the edge of the grass ands stops short.

IKR, it's like she's more afraid of it than she wants to be with Mom, so she goes to the camera person for comfort instead.

So wonderful to see! Mom was happy to be outside, but waited a while to let Lieke get used to things before taking off running together. Funny to see Lieke jump and startle at the strange new grass! Thanks.

The filly's so springy and weightless on her feet.

That is SO cute, lol! Lieke was in a quick hurry to get outside again and she acted like you guys were in her way. She finally was able to gallop a little ahead and the green grass stopped her dead in her tracks. Once on the green grass, she looked at mom and saw she was eating the grass. It was like she decided, if mom is eating it, it must be okay. So cute! Thank you for uploading your video! Love it!

She's so sweet and precious!! Cutness overload, and that little voice is too much to take... I would want to hug her all the time! She's so beautiful and growing very nicely, lots of leg yet she's so elegant the way she trots, some foals throw their legs everywhere, not her, she's poetry in motion. I’m completely and madly in love with these creatures. The baby’s little whiny... 🥰

It is like any animal that sees something different than what they are used to. Our dog was the same way with snow. He was going to run out into the yard, then stopped in his tracks at the door, saying, What is all that White Stuff!! Two strong and healthy Hanovarian fillies safely delivered. 1 to a 4 time momma, 1 to a maiden who took one look at her filly and started talking. Such a relief when maidens do that!!

What fun to see the carefree play between mare & foal in their 1st meadow visit!! I could spend all day watching. ❤😊
