I know what you're saying, but how many calves did he take from Margaret, and how many liters of milk did he take from her, before he made the right decision. He, the farmer did the right thing, by letting Margaret live, as should be the way for All animals, but a Hero he's not.

On what planet are you living?! Impregnated every year, having her baby taken every time, so people like you can have their milk! The female calves are chained onto kennels (short chaines), the male calves mostly killed, some put in crates where they can hardly move, for veal! Open your eyes and go to KZread, there you can see the truth sbiut dairy!

Everyone needs love and needs to be able TO love. I'm so glad for Margaret and Helen...they so deserve their peace now. ❤❤

A farmer who rehomes a cow rather than slaughters her obviously treats his animals well. Margaret looked in good condition when she came to the rescue home, she wasn't in the slightest frightened of people so I don't think it's accurate to say she was abused. She and Helen look so happy together it warms the heart to see them. Thanks for sharing this, it is good to see more and more people are providing for animals other than the cat/dog/horse rescues we hear more of. Cows are good people ❤

Thank you for saying this. The 17 years of exploration comment rubbed me the wrong way after the farmer went out of his way to rehome Margaret. She was healthy and friendly and did not appear to be mistreated.

Yea unfortunately most of these animal channels are greedy af and takes advantage of all the animal lovers. Yes these videos shed light on heart warming stories of animals and good people but its a business first and they are shady people

Spend a day in a dairy farm then get back to us with that nonsense about not being abused, I've lived on dairy farms for over ten years THEIR ABUSED, hate to rip the plaster off so quick but you will live a better life seeing the truth, when I first heard them ssy the farmer didn't want to send to slaughter I thought oh it was his ONE favourite, they always get ONE , to help appesse their naghing guilt ,the rest nope, they r exploited and uncared for unless its to ensure they continue to make profits by sucking the milk intended for the dead calves year after year after year until they r killed and eaten by humans..

@@thinking102 Don't know where you live, but that certainly isn't my experience of dairy farms here in the U.K. I realise that some dairy operations are huge and I have no experience of these - obviously not every dairy cow is sent off to some idyllic centre to live out their life, but neither are they killed and eaten by humans, dairy breeds don't make good beef, which makes me wonder which country you have experience in. I merely remarked that in this particular case the cow looked in good condition, was not frightened of people and did not look at all abused to me. It strikes me as unlikely in the extreme that a farmer would - or could - treat one cow out of a herd of say 120/150 so differently. If she were part of a smallholding with say 3 or 4 cows, I think it more likely that as they age and are replaced, they would be more likely to end their days in the same manner as this one. A commercial operation can't afford to be sentimental, but a much smaller set up could. Given how some humans treat their children, it is no surprise that animals can be badly treated, but please don't tar everyone with the same brush, it isn't realistic.

Fund it then.. if you can fund the farmers and pay them more can do this, but dont expect people who are already in debt to spend and pay the bill for "love for animals"

What wonderful people you are, creating this safe domain for animals. It upsets me to remember how many calves these ex-dairy cows have had wrenched away, over their life-times. I remember how I cried after hearing the mothers calling for their new-bornes, after they had been removed for veal-crates or the bone-meal crusher, I lived opposite a small dairy farm. Best of wishes for the future and thank you for uploading, England.

The saddest part of living near a dairy farm is in the springtime - when all of the babies are dragged away from their mothers. The heart broken cows cry the whole night through for their lost calves. I hate the people who do this, year after year, to these helpless creatures. No human with a heart that hard should ever be allowed near an animal for any reason.
