I think Oliver really enjoyed the canoe ride - he fell asleep 7:30 😆 Banff downtown is gorgeous - views from a hiking/ski-lift peak are unique.

@@zxyatiywariii8 Thank you, HE is also dead already since more than 7 years, and I still miss him and the other 4 Cocker Spaniels within 40 years, - - and Oliver always helps a lot to make that easier. My godchild in America and her family have two Beagles. At home I googled "Beagle", and the first one, 'smiling' at me was Oliver - I did never continue searching, because he is the cutest and most adorable one - with the unique personality, my Cocker Spaniels in the past also had. We can learn so much from our friends with 4 legs. 😉🙋‍♀️

The scenery is amazing and the color of the water is spectacular...🇨🇦

Yes, it's a really unique and beautiful color! I read later that the blue-green color comes from minerals in the glacier water--basically it's a fine rock dust that is suspended in the water, and it's created by the glacier rubbing up against rocks high up on the mountain.

I love how cinematic these videos are, showing parts of the world that a lot of us may never get to see. Apart from Oliver of course, he doesn't know how lucky he is 🐶

Oliver looked sleepy on the canoe ride. Must have been quite relaxing. I'm jealous 🤢😎❣

OH WOW!! OH CANADA indeed. The color of the water is spectacular, it was so peaceful riding in the canoe that it lulled Oliver to sleep. Love Oliver's life jacket and how chill he is on all his adventures. And I agree Lake Moraine is absolutely breathtaking. But we come here to see brave little Oliver, he is the best.

On 9/11 two of my dear friends were returning to the US from a trip to London. They detoured to Nova Scotia and were there for about a week. They said the people were so incredibly kind and hospitable. ❤️ It is one of the places on my bucket list !

We'll have to make a trip to Nova Scotia one day! I visited Halifax a long time ago and loved it, but I haven't seen the rest of the province yet!

Canada is spectacular & Oliver as our guide is precious. Many Oliver admirers..examples; @ 12:15 & @ 13:18 Oliver Fans Alert!😁 Happy @ 15:10 Oliver discovered 1st Canadian Squirrel:) Beagle Love Forever:) I'll be enjoying ur Canada vids over & over:) So many special moments in a mini movie:) Thank u Oliver & Gentlemen!

This leg of the journey is simply gorgeous. I would never want to leave any of the locations. But the amazing thing has been seeing Oliver overcoming his fear and/or trepidations about water. A couple more trips like this one and he could be a seasoned outdoors beagle. And I loved seeing him play on the bed. I think that's one of his favorite things to do. And that classic Snoopy sleeping position. Before our family got a beagle we would watch a Peanuts cartoon, and I wondered, why show Snoopy sleeping like that? Then we got a beagle and all was revealed.

Not that often!! I love that part of the video at 13:24 where a fan recognized Oliver and shouted "it's Oliver"! I wish I had kept filming at that point and done an interview with Oliver's fan--I was just so surprised that I stopped filming. She was super sweet though, and we stopped for a bit so she could get her photo taken with Oliver.

Thank you for allowing us to live vicariously through Oliver's adventures. What a stunningly beautiful trip. I'm recently retired and plan to do some traveling, this is definitely on my bucket list now.

@@OlivertheBeagle I took a VERY long to Alaska. I'd always wanted to see it. My dog came with me. And I wanted to see those areas on the way back.. I was just too darn tired and just wanted to get home.

Lake Louise is the most beautiful place on earth, the view is breathtaking…Oliver looks like he is having the time of his life, what a great travel buddy. It was nice to hear others comment on how cute he is…lucky for them they saw him in person!! Marvelous camera work . Thanks for sharing.

In response to your question, Oliver is more beautiful. Lake Louise, the other lakes and mountain scenery are spectacular and the photography is outstanding. They are wonderful experiences and memories but Oliver is always with you. It seems that he's been adapting nicely to new places and even the canoe trip.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME IN EVERY WAY. I ‘m just about sure I thought I heard Oliver deep breathing on the canoe ride, meaning I think he dozed off. Great video guys. Thank you. Stay safe. XOXO Doreen

Well I must say for a person, like myself, who doesn't travel too much this trip was absolutely beautiful...the lakes were crystal clear, I never saw such beauty, and the waterfalls and everything...thanks so much for taking me on your trip with Oliver...Now home to Chicago....Can't wait for the next video of Oliver...Hes a real adventurer!

I have to thank you. I lived in Canada for 5 years after leaving my native country of Azores, before moving to America. We were in Red Lake, Ontario., but this part of Canada is amazingly beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I love ❤ following Oliver with the both of you. My son has a Beagle love Beagles though they can be nuts at times especially when they see a squirrel. She's only 20 lbs but can drag me with her when she sees a squirrel.

Lake Louise, Athabasca Glacier, Sunwapta Falls, Johnston Canyon, Moraine Lake - all beautiful. What a great trip!

It sounds as if Oliver gets recognised when he’s out and about. Fame at last. 👍

He balked at the entrance of the cave, but his dad and his bravery compelled him forward.

I also have a beagle,she is two years old and I hope that in the next couples of years I’ll be able to travel with her the way you do with Oliver, it’s such a joy to share these kind of things with our loved ones, especially our dogs because they are such a big part of our life 💛

I completely agree! Oliver is a real trooper in the car--we weren't sure how he would cope with seven or eight hours of driving a day, but he seems to be completely fine with it!
