I completely agree--it was such a special visit, and it meant so much to us! We have wondered so many times what kind of life the other Oliver has been living, and it was amazing to have the opportunity to see him again five years later. We're so happy that he has been living such a happy, fulfilled life with his wonderful dad Archie.

I just love the Olivers. It’s so fun to watch them playing together. The “sit” really got me! They are adorable. Chloe would just love playing with the Olivers. Lots of beagle tail wags and love from Chloe ♥️🐾

I wonder if they remember each other or feel they're brothers ?!.. both Olivers are free spirits for sure, especially Milwaukee Oliver!.. it made me very happy that his owners are extremely nice, just as you guys!! Chg Oliver was disappointed he didn't get as muddy as his sibling 😁🐶💕

I think maybe they were so interested in each other's scent (and poop/pee) because it revealed a relationship in a way only dogs can notice.

@@suedenim I think so, it’s subtle but I’m sure the sib relationship is somehow tangible. Also the way they follow each other. They are slightly different in demeanour when other dogs come over but with each other it’s a different comfort level.

I just love seeing the two Olivers playing together and they both share their personalities.

The Oliver Beagle brothers bond really well together.

This video gave me LIFE!!!! Thanks so much for sharing such a joyous moment in Oliver's life! We moved to the Chicago area last year, and our Bailey loves our dog-friendly neighborhood (plenty of four-footed friends) and all the nearby nature preserves. We've managed to keep her out of the mud pits.

When Chicago Oliver Met Milwaukee Oliver! Chicago means Pizza and of course Milwaukee means Beer...it's made in heaven. With a side of mudbath!

It was so funny to see them getting in the mud pit, Chicago Oliver wouldn't have done it by himself, he felt like following his brother. It is interesting to see that the Oliver we know is more a follower than a leader.

What could be better than one Oliver? Yes! You got it, two OLIVERs. What a beautiful reunion. They are so gorgeous.

Wow, double Olivers! 😃❤️🐕🐕🥰 This is so cool! The more I watch them, the more I can see their similar personalities and also their uniqueness. . . Edit: Wow, so only your Oliver inherited the howl! I absolutely love Oliver's howl, and my dogs are fascinated by it, but neither of mine can howl, that's a unique ability not all dogs have.

I watched this video yet again and i got the feeling that Milwaukee Oliver must have told Chicago Oliver," hey I know a special place in this park, right down the road where we can run in the mud and have lots of fun". Well Mil Oliver ran off to show him, and Chi Oliver followed, and a great time was had by both of them.

Just watched this. My Riley does not howl either! Even when I play howling beagles on TV or my phone, he doesn't even lift his head. Funny how they don't howl as much as people think! 🐕❤❤❤

Oh how I miss my Beagle babies.

This was so much fun to watch! Thanks for the nice long video of them together. My beagle/golden mix was Toby and we adopted him at the one year birthday party for the first dog park in Michigan. His brother was also there. Well, Toby got sick and at the emergency vet the next day we saw the brother and the people who had adopted him. They were there for the same illness and were saying that they had made a mistake and now realized that a beagle mix was not for them. They were going to return him. Both brothers recovered and years later we were checking Toby out of the kennel after our vacation and the owner looked at Toby’s birthdate and asked what rescue we got him from. When she heard, she said that she thought that one of her regulars was his brother. She had been talking with the other guy’s parents and realized that their stories matched. We gave the owner permission to give our phone number to the brother’s parents and we did talk on the phone and confirmed their dog’s story - including having been returned to the rescue after just one day. It turned out that the two brothers had been best pals and played and romped together at every play session during their stay. Toby was only there once or twice a year during our vacations, but they did meet up at least once more. We never got to see his brother all grown up in real life, though.
