Yes, I love that moment where he goes from "happy and excited" to "focused and alert"! It's classic Oliver. There are some good examples of that in this video at 00:45 and 1:02. But I don't think I've ever noticed before just how much his tail changes in that moment--that's such a cool observation! Thanks for sharing!

lol, yes, that is a cute moment--I noticed that, too! He can be quite stubborn sometimes, but he never, ever resists being picked up--except at the beach when he thinks I might be planning to put him down in the water (which I would never do!)

This was definitely the highlight of today! Oliver had a wonderful and yummy birthday. I could watch him play with that porcupine for hours.

That cake looked delicious and it must be a good recipe because I've never seen a dog enjoy his birthday cake 🎂more! Happy birthday dear Oliver and many more!

So sorry to hear about your Dad. We lost my Dad last July 10th. 20 days shy of his 89th birthday. The same day as Olivers. He liked butter tarts,so I buy them for him and I. My deepest condolences. 🙏🦋😇
