I just said goodbye to my beagle Elwood. A great friend. He was 17 years old, and it seemed like a day. To hear that exact same bark, watch his curiosity and see his unconditional love, brings back great memories. Cherish the time you have together,. You are his world, and remember, they make our world a much better place. I miss and think about him everyday. Enjoy these years, they pass by quickly.

Oliver is what inspired me to get a beagle, and I love my little beagle so much! Reminds me a lot of Oliver

Oliver started off as a pup with large ears, and as he has grown they seem to have stayed the same size, while he's grown ! I'm not a dog person per se, but he gets a thumbs up for being a good boy. Cute at any age. 🙂

They should buy this baby the piggy toy at walmart. Its a squeaky squeal pig and it comes in different colors but is so cute. Oliver will like this toy.

We had a beagle/pointer/terrier mix growing up named Oliver! ❤️. Had him for 15 years. Love him and miss him to this day.

I have a Beagle, she is the light of my life! They are excellent family dogs and companions. My Star loves kids! Excellent dogs!!

I once had a beagle, grumbles was a rescue. He bit me twice in the face and countless times all over my body. I never gave up on him. Near the end of his life he developed Cushing's disease and spent the last 2 months sleeping right on top of my chest as I can only assume he needed to feel my heartbeat, I had to make the awful decision to let him go and to this day since 2010 my soul still pines for him. He was a great dog

This little puppy kept my spirits up during the covid lockdown when I was out of work due to massive school closures.

Oliver was the cutest puppy I’ve ever seen!!!!!

I have a 13.5 year old lemon beagle named Oliver. He has slowed down a lot. I found out I loved beagles in the 80s when a neighbor's beagle had a litter of 6 gorgeous pups. I got my girl and her Sally! She lived a long pampered life!

Just lost ours after 12 wonderful years with him. I remember those young days when he was so energetic and hyper. He started having hip and joint issues and when he started crying at night, we knew it was time. Beagles are such good dogs. I just wish they lived longer. I miss my boy so much. And that nose. Ohhhh that nose would get him into all kinds of adventures. RIP my sweet Copper man.

There really are not enough superlatives in the English language to adequately describe this video. I trust you know how much joy you have brought to Oliver's fans over the past 5 years. Thank you and best wishes for continued happiness.

I agree!! When we take him for a walk, lots of people assume he is a puppy and are surprised when we say he is five. I think it's also that he has very large paws for his size.

Some of that is just part of the breed. Beagles don’t really show their age until their muzzle starts turning white as they age. I’m on my third beagle and they are my favorite breed of dog! My newest one is actually quite old…. I adopted a senior beagle this time as they tend to get left behind. I’ve had her 2 years and she is 9 years old. She is my first beagle that doesn’t bark unless she runs into wildlife. She does, however, love to talk to everyone! I do miss hearing a baying hound,so I guess I can get my fix on this channel!

I had a beagle for about 13 years. Loqui was my best friend, and the sweetest and most gentle creature I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I think about her every day and there will always be a place in my heart for her, and it just puts such a huge smile on my face seeing the absolute joy and love radiating from Oliver. He is a beautiful soul and is lucky to have such loving and caring caretakers. We lost our sweet beagle last week and it is still heartbreaking, he was with my husband for a good 12.5 years, I only got to take care of him since I got here 5 years ago. I still cry when I watch the videos and photos I took, also watching the nanny cam we set up for him. He will be in our hearts forever. Watching your baby reminds me of the same attitude and moves and being so playful, especially that beagle face! 😍 Thank you for sharing his videos.

Sorry for your loss. There is nothing like the love of a dog or the love we feel for that dog. Many the memories console you. Iost my dog 10 months ago, and am getting ready to welcome another rescue to honor a promise i made to her.

We know that not everyone can have a dog, for various reasons, and we wanted to capture on video a bit of what it is like to have a dog. Before we got Oliver, we lived in an apartment and couldn't have a dog, and we watched a *lot* of dog videos on KZread!
