That Pink lemonade is insanely gorgeous!!! I had to stop the video!!! I would fill my yard with it and serve lemonade to everyone on my street who would stop!!! Laura, I have changed my front walk with just ideas from you and the neighbors tell me they pop by "to see what's new"!!! It makes me so happy to share what I have learned!! Blessings!

@Shellyholdren6120 I did the same thing, lol. I hope you have better luck finding seeds 'cause I'm not. I'm not sure what the terminology for plants is, but in roses they call it a "sport" when a new variety emerges from cross polinating. That could be what this plant might be a Rudbekia "sport" or possibly an Echinacea.

Northern Indiana here, just saw that our 99 Thursday forecast got downgraded to 95 overnight! We don't have AC, so will still be insane heat, but glad to see it isn't going to be quite as hot. Now if we can do something about the 60-70% humidity.

I first watched this video during the summer but I’m back watching it now during the winter and although I love watching all your videos, this is my favorite video ever! As well as that I love the south garden so much, if you ever move from your house, your garden should open as a botanical garden, because your garden is nicer and more interesting than many botanical gardens I’ve visited in here in Europe. It’s also laid out in a really unique and interesting way and your style of layering plants is unique. I think in years to come people will study the style of “Laura planting” because of the huge positive impact your work has and continues to have. I love seeing the cut flower garden and your 2020 cut flower garden (and each cut flower garden since) has inspired me to have my own cut flower garden in 2023 for the first time. Keep making your fantastic videos and remember you are inspiring beautiful gardens full of color all around the world, even seaside gardens like mine on the west coast of Ireland next to the Atlantic Ocean!

Oh that monster sweet potato vine! It truly loves its home and what you are giving it for nutrient’s. I planted a couple of the dark sweet potato vines last year and they had the same growing habit. I’m swearing off planting them for a while because of their vigorous growth. Step back a couple of years when your flower garden was basically a weed patch, and look at the progress as it appears today. So beautiful and full of color. It shows your dedication to flower gardening and the green thumb you have. I’ve become a true believer in using the Espoma products. My garden has flourished since I started using it.

I had to laugh when you mentioned feverfew; I watch Nicole from Flower Hill Farm and she absolutely adores her feverfew. And the lisianthus just laying by their sides; they're so hard to grow yet you have an abundance of them. I WOULD DIE!! Thank you Laura for the tour. As usual, absolutely beautiful!! If only....lol! Ok, so with alllllll those flowers (esp. Dahlias) what do you do with them; besides enjoy them and look at them. I know you said you don't sale them, but that's a lot of work and flowers. And where do you get your tubers/seeds? Are any of these from Floret Farm? Oh well, maybe you'll answer, maybe not...this was shot back in August. Just trying to catch up with all your videos.

Laura, nunca pensé ver tanta belleza junta; la infinita cantidad y la variedad de super bellas plantas en flor que tienes y tus árboles frutales , es algo increíblemente hermoso.

I’m sitting here smiling not only enjoying the garden tour but realizing how your taste for the warmer richer colors of your gorgeous flowers is developing! I’m very much a fall color person, it is so fun to see you lean to those colors more and more!

I think you should put a weather vane on top of the flower shed

You might want to try bagging your apples. I bag mine with zipper sandwich bags to keep the worms out and to reduce the sooty blotch. When I am thinning fruit I bag about a hundred apples per tree. It doesn't take as much effort as it sounds like it would. And you get organic, worm free fruit.

I just love your show and your garden!! The following is some positive critique, just for evolution of thought, to plant a seed so to speak. You water a lot, this is fantastic for the micro biome. If you stop spraying altogether, the micro biome in the soil will mature and start delivering nutrients to the plants. They have an outward digestive system as we have in our gut, with an ecosystem of micro fauna. The plants in turn exude 1/3 of the sugars they manufacture in trade. This is how nature works. A healthy forest or meadow is never fertilized. A healthy plant is never attacked by pests. The pests that do appear, are eaten by predators and birds in the evolution of the garden. This may not be immediate, but builds with time. I know this from the permaculture world and also Elaine Ingram. It took me a few years to wrap my head around this. Hugs and thanks for every thing!

I ADORE the Jupiter plant - it is the star of that show! It has a shape and texture like no other and the shooting star shape just 'explodes' in my face. It is gorgeous!!!!!! I don't know what it looks like up close but sure enjoy seeing it on this video. Black pots really did look good in the cut garden next to the shed doors and would be nice to repeat on either side of each bench. You are amazing to know so many names. I can't remember all my grandkids' names - LOL.
