Laura, good morning 😃. Please know we love watching you can and be in the kitchen as well as in your garden. We love all things Laura! But I get it, filming everything has to be time consuming and it’s probably easier to just get the jobs done. But, please know we never get tired of what you post.

I was able to have 20 peaches out of over 100 off my tree. Squirrels destroyed over 80 🤦 so i was super excited when i was finally able to eat 1 (6😂) OMG best peaches I've ever had. They were so juicy and delicious i had to eat them over the sink because juice would squirt and drip everywhere. I was so proud of my lil peach tree 💜

Russian Sage doesn't do well in the Houston area, and I love it! Last week we were in Estes Park, Colorado at the foot of Rocky Mountain National Park and in Santa Fe, NM. The Russian Sage was fabulous in the towns and at the resort we were staying in! I also got to gaze at all of the wonderful evergreens in the park and on the mountain sides, that you plant and love so much. I had a whole different take on them than the other times I've visited the mountains.

You might want to put your weather station on a longer pole. We have ours 10’ up, (on a 11’ pole) and find that the information for wind in not accurate. You may have it in a more open spot than we are able to in our yard, so won’t have this problem. They do give you a lot of good weather information.

As an ex-meteorologist, the Tempest (which I have on my property) is a great tool for weather and garden enthusiasts alike. It’s not overly expensive, it’s quite reliable and their customer service is great.

I really like your "willy nilly" planting. So many things to look at. Makes it really interesting and colorful! Your small pond should go in the south garden somewhere where the walkway winds around. Would be a surprise when walking the walkway especially when the trees get bigger and things fill in. South garden is wonderful to look at.

Seeing you harvest your peaches brought back a precious memory. When my granddaughter was Samantha’s age her favorite fruit was peaches, I can picture her with a big peach in her little hand, juice dripping down her chin! Those were the days, she will be turning 21 in December and I wish I could relive those precious days. Enjoy your children while they are young, time passes by so fast !!!

Also, you don't need a pipe or pole! You can use wood screws and install it right on top of the fence post! Its got a detachable bottom part that you can screw down and then the weather station clicks in, no need for a pole or pipe! But of course the higher you go, the better the wind reading, nice job!

I remember when you planted those trees❤ Aren't they looking fabulous!! So many fruit on your trees. I also hate the fur fuzz on peaches, but I just run them under water and rub the fuzz off 😃

Wow. You guys are killing me!! I bought a Davis weather centre for my husband years ago. I thought it would satisfy his geekiness but, truth be known, I use it way more than he does to keep track of what is going on in the garden (don't tell). Lately, we have been looking at upgrading since we are moving to a new property and creating a new garden. He was looking at the Tempest. I will be very curious to see what you think of it since here in Canada, it runs close to $600. Neither of us have smart phones but the logging of data certainly appeals to me. Love your work. You intrigue me with every video!

I love to put fresh peaches in freezer. The skin falls right off and they taste as great as if you just picked them. Also great for smoothies or peach cobbler or pie.

can't wait to see what the weather station tells you. i am new to your channel this year and can't get enough so have been watching some of your older videos as well. amazing seeing the progress on your property. one suggestion from someone who is watching the videos much later, while you tube says it is 1 yr ago, it is a little hard to figure out timing especially on planting videos, maybe in the notes of the video you can put the month it was filmed. thanks for all you do.
