I am echoing that this is the best van built I have ever seen and I have been looking at them for 2 years. What a classy looking interior, I love the shower and rollaway toilet, the bed is so beautiful and the cabinets are stunning! I just can't say enough about it! You both did an amazing job! I wish I could give you thousands of thumbs up!!!!!!!!!

Good idea to have the downsized bed in exchange for more living space.Your finishes, like with your garage, are beautifully done! Do you build for others? Everything looks so nice/ classy! Jeanette

This home is awsome, it's honestly one of a kind. I love how the kitchen is separated from the rest of the van and the shower is a must.I really need help with that.I love how you hid the toilet. You guys did a great job.I feel like everyone did this during the pandemic.

I love the arches and that cedar shower. I love how you tucked away the toilet, genius.

Beautiful build! The attention to detail are perfection. They should’ve put the toilet on tracks like a couple other van builders but I always love when the toilet can slide back and isn’t in the way of the shower and of course struts to the toppers.

This is truly one of the best van bills I’ve ever seen

That's the neatest van build. I love how your toilet is hidden, out of sight! You guys did a terrific job & would like a clean concept of a van life! Take care you all from San Francisco...

This whole van is absolutely beautiful. I absolutely loved the rounded arches. You’re correct that they feel like separate roomy rooms.

I love that its 6’4 and that you can sit in bed… i love the Triangle shelves … and that the insets and decorative accents

I like the bathroom and it's a great idea to be able to hide the compost toilet ( I don't know what it's specifically called) but I really like it. Been thinking about how it could be hidden then I saw this build. Wonderful Job! 👌

Thank you!! Yeah we wanted to be able to tuck it away because if you use it as a compost it can get quite smelly- but honestly the smarter thing is to use a compostable trash bag and throw it out after every use!

Only van I've seen in 2+ years that I could see myself living in full time.

Hands down, this is the best build I've ever seen in a class B. Wow! Congratulations pure genius

Very nice! I built out my Sienna and traveled from the West Coast to the East Coast and back again this past summer. It took 47 days, and I was so anxious to get back home, then a week later I actually wanted to take another trip. 😂

Hey Allyson, that is awesome! Yeah it's a happy balance..we have definitely gotten home sick and that was part of the mission with Luna was to make it like home so we felt at home everywhere we went. We love the saying "home is where you park it". haha!

Beautiful build! Light, clean and airy. That shower is gorgeous, the hidden toilet genius! The entire design, the arch; the slat wall; the countertop; the 2-burner induction cooker(with ample solar); the sliding windows as opposed to those awful awning windows; the separate bedroom; the rear 'garage', all such good choices. The only thing I question is that wall plug being so low and so close to the sofa cushion and the knees of anyone sitting there. Thanks for the tour. Safe travels!

"We like taking a shower every single day" Yes to being clean! This seems like a rarity among a certain subset of van lifers. He made a really beautiful shower. Having beauty in your home really does make a difference in your enjoyment of your home.

Thank you!! It was definitely a fun and challenging experience we wouldn't trade for anything. We have some artistic commitments that will take us off the road so we are selling Luna but van life is incredibly rewarding in its own right.

Very cool build. Also helps that they're both very small people making it look more spacious. Laughed when he said, these 3 drawers hold SO much. Um. no... drawers like that are not a good use of space and you cannot create more space than what the van already has. It's not a portal into another dimension.

There's also curtains for the front to block off the cab but we didnt add them for the sake of the tour for lighting.

Reminds me of a condo, modern, cozy and functional home. You’re setting the bar high and showing us that you can scape tradition and gain financial freedom with alternative living that works.

If or whenever I decide one day to try this van life thing i would most definitely go with a floor plan very much like this one.

@@rae1957tn for many of us it must remain an in the air type of thing until anywhere near the appropriate amount of $$ to get started is saved up. by then, we my find or want something different as well, and especially if say you have other plans for your money for a while, like a needed family vacation or what have you. 😎👊

A wonderful stylish build. Very tasteful. Especially the normally overdone hexagon tile back splash, vanlife Instagram look that they just blew out the water, taking the back splash to Designer levels. The shower alcove harks to old world stone and wood cottages. Thanks for sharing and showing your space that is both feminine and masculine creating a well balanced home feeling. 👍

It's always refreshing to see different layouts.

I saw a woman who had her shower/bathroom behind the driver's seat. She had made a closet/clothes hanging area up top, and a slide alcove for the toilet, as you have. Yours is the first I've seen since hers, but I always thought that was so smart, and def what I would do. Really nice build.

Truly custom and well-designed, stylish, lovely ! So often, the feeling of spaciousness gets smaller with walls/partitions, but not here, and each space feels special.

Maybe I can finally convince my husband by showing him this amazing build! I’m hooked!

This is the best design I've seen! I LOVE the wall with archway, that gives some privacy to sleeping area. Plus, the hideaway potty is genius!

If I were to design a van, this would be the floorplan I'd choose, hands down! Love this build! Best one I've seen to date.

Love the build. Only thing I would do different is put the toilet on a slide out to make it easier to access.

Hey Stanley thanks so much! We actually did have it on sliders but it compromised on height quite significantly. The toilet way way too high up and the bench then was also about 5 inches higher so my feet were dangling!

Thank you!! We were very excited when we came up with the idea for the toilet, it turned out to be the perfect way to have a toilet in a private area of the van (the shower) while not compromising on space, and keeping things sanitary.

Totally rad build. I'm so with Joe, best time to work is 7 or 8 pm until around 5a.m. which is my most productive times to do anything of significance. I have ADHD and I find there are so fewer distractions. ❤

Stunning. The colors. The workmanship. I love it. The arched doorways are really attractive, but I'll bet the narrow opening makes changing the sheets on the bed even more difficult. (I have a van so I know how it is.) I wonder about the weight added with the build. The little ledge on that wall -- could you remake it into a spice rack? Just a thought. Again, beautiful job!

Hi!! Thank you so much! Surprisingly changing the sheets is super easy you just lift the edge up and pop them on- easy peasy. There's definitely weight in the build but it is completely un noticeable driving- this baby is a 3500 so lots of towing power. I think it grounds it nicely and feels really secure when driving. The ledge is intended for a spice rack just needs a magnetic strip- we didn't get that far yet :)

This is one of the best looking vans I have seen. Wow!

This van is stunning and absolutely all the design details that Joe made are 100% home runs! I love the arches, the triangles 🔺️ on the back windows, the shower with cedar & the ability to use the rain shower and handheld as well as the AMAZING hidden toilet! The kitchen counters and cabinets are beautiful! I would probably want a hideaway stove top vs built-in and I would want the bigger & deeper kitchen sink or a small sink with a dishwasher 😂🤞🏻🤷🏼‍♀️ Joe I have 1 suggestion for you to maybe invent. You said you watch movies on your laptop 💻 in bed which is a great idea! You put the laptop in the cabinet so what about building a tray with a lip and it drops down from the ceiling or under the cabinets and it's set at the perfect angle for the screen & then it hides away when you're done so you don't have to clear out the cabinet.? Just a thought! 😊😉 Not at all critiquing your designs or work, it was just a thought.

Hi Cyndy! Haha we allll want a dishwasher! But the sink is super deep and you're only ever cleaning like a couple of dishes or a single pot at a time so it works out nicely. Also, they do have a cover for these stovetops- its a wooden chop block but I didn't feel like we needed it because there's so much counter space. I hear you for the laptop- so one idea is to add a hanging table but to be totally honest we usually just throw the laptop on a pillow but there's a space back there for a pull down screen so if someone wanted to get a mini projector they could!

I was joking about the dishwasher. 😉🤣 And the cover for the stovetop sounds like something I would like because I don't like seeing stovetops when they aren't in use and that way you could turn that counter into something else when not cooking. Anyway I can see you are super talented and really creative obviously you've found an amazing way to showoff your talents! I can tell you will continue to be super successful.

Ha!!! Yes, well, we filmed this on a farm in TN on a warm day- its a harmless stinkbug but I am NOT a fan of little creatures. They are usually met with a giant squeal from me ( Lindsay) and a prompt and safe evacuation courtesy of Joe. Thanks for your kind words!
