Love seeing a family work together
She's definitely a keeper. Be good to her.
Good hard working crew. I would love to be capable of working there with you my friend. Like the way you take care of your equipment also. Thanks for the great video. Steve
She is a fantastic worker. Yall be working great together❤
I Love the log turner you got there. You don't need any help. Smart Man
I absolutely love your log turner. It makes perfect business sense to me. Technology cost money to buy and maintain. And any business cost must be added to the price of products. It appears to me that the cost of labor is not an issue to you therefore investing in new technology would be just added expense. My career before retirement was Maintenance and Manufacturing director for a division of General Motors called AC Spark Plug. Cost of maintaining Laser welders and lost time was a huge loss of revenue. At the same time Gillette Razor was the #1 investment for Return on investment at 65% ROI. Gillette chose to use equipment built and bought in the 40's and avoid the cost of Technology and moved the production overseas where labor was not an issue. Although I prefer Made in the USA it was an excellent business decision. You and Mrs. Wallace (The SAW BOSS) keep on sawing, and I will keep on watching. Thanks for bringing us along.

I happen to be another one that loves your log turner! It is as logical and efficient as any of the expensive turners and it is simple!! Even more impressive is Brittany!! She reminds me of my wife, in that she is my partner and will work her tail off to get any job done!! You better appreciate her, because these partners are very, very special!!
I tell you what i just found your YT channel and i love sawmill content! And i have got to say your wife is one tuff woman dude most women would divorce you before they would work that hard especially at a sawmill so you had better hang on to that she coukd wirk most grown men under the table!
Hey buddy how are you? You have a really nice setup there, and yes I like the log Turner I wish I had something like that on my sawmill thank you for sharing God bless you and your family.

Yes indeed!
Love hearing that baby sing through the cuts. I'm running a 471 but it's the same tune over at our mill. That's the Lowest tooth count I've seen on a circle mill in a long time, lowest I've got is a 34 tooth 3 pattern but it cuts pine like a dream. Thanks for sharing and letting us tag along

@@wallacefarmandsawmill I'm always looking for odd older blades and stuff that I've never seen before and It just caught my attention. Looks like it's a good match for the 371 and does a good job.
Enjoyed your video. Getting things done. Be safe and enjoy. Smile.
That log turner is awesome.

Good stuff. Ole city boy like me, I enjoy watching you labor. Trust me when I say that, I'm a retired boilermaker, local 83 Kansas City. Hard work my not feel good, but has it's rewards. Thanks for sharing your journey, it is fun to watch, I can't get enough. I truly miss the action and challenges of the job.
Great video very good looking material your attention to detail will never let you down
Great job, thanks for the video.
Definitely gotta make time for good customers! Keep them coming back! I've tried talking my wife into off bearing but it just doesnt seem to work! Lol
Good job guys
I am from Hancock County on the Mississippi coast and I remember when so e of the old mills used Buick straight 8"s to power their saw mills and noticed it is still hard work. You two stay safe and have fun
I agree with everyone. You want to hang on to her. Your a lucky man to have a wife that is willing to work that hard
Hi Brittany. Nice to see you wearing a pair of good gloves! Stay safe.
Everything is cool
Go for it, I. Love watching your shows.
Great job
Awesome 😎
Just run across your channel from cottontop3 Tim seems to be a good man interesting watching you and your wife on the mill our family had small Mill operation back in the day in WV many years ago hope to see more of y'all great vidg
I reckon your Circle Saw would cut our Eucalyptus OK but I think the normal Woodmizer would struggle.
Job well done by both of you .
I do like the log turner and I am going to make one for myself thanks!
Nice job y’all ! Great Family Channel from Mississippi USA
About a year ago I rigged up the same exact setup for a log turner, so I got a big chuckle when I saw yours!!!! Works great too!!

To heck with the log turner. I’m still trying to figure out how you found such a beautiful woman who will work at a sawmill!
I love this job Very nice girl for this work. ...
I just love them all Mills Do a h*** of a job Enjoy the video be watching more Have a safe day
That young lady you call your wife is a keeper! She out works most guys her age that I know!
Yes it was interesting to see you and your wife working together , You want to hang onto her young man , she is a hard worker, You don't see women helping their husbands outdoors , in the role that she helped you , The hard physical labor most women do not like doing it
I'm putting the same log turner on my sawmill.

Works great! Simple.
This is what its all about, FAMILY
Hiya, Another great video; thank you both. I love your 'Log Turner'. It's cheap, imaginative, and works well. What more could you want? I love the sawdust clearing/pilling system too. Again creative, and it works. Did you design it? Very clever. Your wife is a treasure; she reminds me of mine from before... How she uses leavers and balance to shift even heavy 6"x6" on her own; is lovely. My wife loved working with me in building electrical control cabinets and sound systems. She was always a great help, plus I could never flag if she was still going strong; unfair, hehehe. How long before your son wants to learn to? I've always loved working with my hands, so I became an electrician, but now making jewellery. Stay safe, Steve...
Super Video Ihr seid sehr fleißig Grüße aus Germany
that girl is a worker just like mother on reel mccoy she would tail, run edger and chipper for her husband they both can outwork 3 men worth her weight in gold amazing ladies i married one like that 44 yrs ago!!
Good job hope you all the best. prayers to you all , Lucky Edmonds in Candler NC
I have that exact saw. The best $300 I spent too.
I’m hard of hearing from no ear protection for years. That being said your mill is awesome.
I wish I had a log turner in my mill. But my rafters are not strong enough to hold it
Good job! I beet y'll sleep good at bed time............I liked the video, well all of them😊..............
I'll bet you guys don't need to waste money on a gym membership lol love the longer videos buddy
Lord have mercy!
Would really like you to do a comparison video of why you traded the Woodland Mills for a Wood Mieser.
@wallacefarmandsawmill
Жыл бұрын
Woodland mill was falling apart before 100 hours. Got 100 hours on the Woodmizer with 0 issues. That pretty much sums it up.
I like your offbearer more than your log turner
Yup going to do that too 4000 lb winch with a forged hook
😀👍👍👍
Just started watching. Great stuff! How do you choose using circle or band saw?
Do you add lucus upper lub gas additives with little bet synthetic oils would help your chain saws.....
Anyone with a sawmill needs a log turner
Two questions that i have as a fellow sawyer of many years, why don't you wear hearing protection and why don't you stack your logs on bearers off the ground? I am not critizising just curious. Happy milling friend.
@wallacefarmandsawmill

Most of our log stock is on a quick rotation. So its moved before being on the ground is an issue. Hearing protection is probably not a bad idea. I sometimes use it. Sometimes not.
How much do you charge per board foot to mill lumber?
How did you guys get startde
Top D++++++++++++++
IDo you buy the logs from someone, or do you harvest them from your land? I have plenty of pine on my land, and was thinking about selling them to sawmills like yours and was wondering what the going price for pine is. I know diameter and length is a factor. If you do buy them, if you can provide some input on what I could sell them for, that would help me alot. Thanks,
