Great video guys. Love to watch the Woodmizer getting it done guys. That was a lot of cuts guys. 38" pine......dang guys that is hug log guys. Well guys, I gotta go guys. But despite you saying guys every 20 seconds in your videos I'm still going to watch your videos guys. Just messing with you, but you sure do say guys a lot 😁
The real star of the show is that little Kubota. It doesn’t even have a counter weight on the back. 😳

Nice video! I really enjoy seeing good husband and wife teamwork.
You want to appreciate Brittany. She's your money maker. Without her you would have to work day and night to get things done

Thanks for the hard working demonstration . Ive seen the video on the 40 and I'm sure that You appreciate the 40 in comparison to the 15 . Ive also looked at the Norwood brand but am impressed with the Wood Mizer . Yall really work hard together. Ive watched a group out of Florida that getting Bigger and mostly into slabs etc for furniture and are making their 40' × 40' × 14' into a AC and heated shop . Yall deserve something like their setup , GOD BLESS You Both and be Safe !!!

Not that far away. I'm in Maryville, East TN. Love wood working so what you guys are doing fits what I like, but I got into making things out of rough cut after I retired. Baby bed was my first. Maybe pictures later. After a couple of "Stress Heart attacks" in the office, I started taking it easy in my wood shop. Anyway, you two have a fan up here. Watch is all I do any more.
Great video 💯
I am 97% sure i just watched this video a few weeks ago. It shows being not liked So I'll watch it again.

Great video. Nice treat seeing Mrs. Brittney getting out of her shyness and doing some of the talking. A man that has a wife that is willing to get out and work with him is a lucky man now days. I saw someone else's saw the other day that had a bucket under the sawdust chute that rides along with the saw. They dumped it into a bulk container so they could pick it up with their tractor later and dump it away from the saw. I love the dog. Thanks as always for bringing us along.

hahahhaaha I thought the same. Brittney said more than I've heard her ever say in the first 4 mins. That's alright she's a worker not a talker.
Love your southern accent.
Wish I knew the length, but im going to assume 16'. Doyle says 625 BF and a 1x6x16' is 8 BF. So my guess is 78 boards.
Wow I guessed60. Good work you too.

It’s amazing how many board feet you can get out of a log.
Your cat claw looks to be a very good investment if you are sawing much

Like Curly Howard would TRY to say, "Let a man that can see saw, see?" 😂😂😂
I wonder if they could make sawbands with teeth ON BOTH sides, then you could saw forwards AND backwards, or is that a stupid idea? Oh, there I see that you HAVE a saw sharpener at 13:55 ! Nifty. I had a question about that earlier, now I see it in your video. Awesome!
You should put all your end cuts and short pieces on the mill and saw them into pallet wood
when it's so hot in the day work early in the morning 3 o'clock to 10:30 am then take siesta work afternon after wind debris comes
I am new to your channel and am enjoying the videos. Great teamwork, but u'all need to wear some gloves. I realize it was hot weather, but a retired doctor told me a long time ago that I should try wear gloves to help save my hands. He said that in the long run of being a person that works with their hands, it will help with health. It is hard work working around a sawmill, but rewarding when you see the lumber. I worked with a sawyer years ago and he was a great friend that I learned something about sawing logs. That green end of the saw was some of the hardest work and rates in my top 5 hardest jobs. U'all take care and God bless...
Great video, new sub here. I'll be watching more

All your short pieces of logs i would put them on the mill and make pallet wood so they don't get wasted
My guess is 74, that’s my age so it sounds good to me. Nice sawing Tyler!!

Was super close!
When you sawed through the bolt you could have turned the cant with the bolt in it and the saw would run on each side of the cut off bolt and still get all 12’ boards
you need a 4x4 under the small end
Great video guys, that was one big log!👍🏻

The older I get...the less I like giant logs on my manual mill. TYG for my skid steer and clam attachment. I'll pick the big ones right off the mill and rotate them on the ground on 2x4 runners.

That was a nice stick of wood, make a lot of toothpicks lol. I like to be close with a load of logs.
Where does getting going with a saw mill as well. Going to make something to pull the sawdust back so it's easier to load up into the bucket. Some kind of attachment that goes to the loader. wouldn't be a bad idea
Brit "That's a big log right there." :-| Not sure how she said that with a straight face.
What do you do with all the cut offs and short pieces.
Made my calculation at about 3 mins in so I think I might have won Ha Ha. Nice work and aint that auto feed awsome.

Ha ha!
If you got a nylon strap and choked the log down low, just like your doing with the hook, y’all wouldn’t have any hook holes in your lumber. Just a thought,,,
During your PM time ,why don’t you blow out the back of the motor fan shield .
Did you get a different mill after this video was posted?
Whoa, a HUGE 38" pine log! 🌲🔪 This is going to be an exciting challenge! We would love to connect and collaborate with you.
Do metal detectors work to finds those metal bolts.
I have had to use the tractor to take the log completely off the saw so I could turn it so I could get two flat sides
What do you do if you have a log too big for the mill
Should have made the contest a little more interesting, and asked how many toothpicks could you get out of that log?!?! (Ha!Ha!)
38 - 1"x 6" boards
I was thinking 35
how long was the bolt that grew in the log
Looks about like 60. Do you not try and clean some of the dirt off these logs. Might help with wear and tear on the blades?
where in Mississppi are you located if you don't mind
A 4 inch block under the small end might have helped. But nice work!

No!
18.5 inch can’t so roughly 54 1x6’s
I’m going with 70
I’m curious… do you hit lead bullets? I’m sure you do. Does the lead hurt the saw?
@wallacefarmandsawmill
7 ай бұрын
Lead doesn’t seem to hurt much.
A grapple on a skidsteer/Bobcat and you would have picked that log out in one move.
75 1x6's from this log
51
I will say you will get 72 1×6 from the log
54
55
For a small business I can't believe how much you actually waste
how many horses does your tractor have?

About 65
But the big doesn't count when you can only cut straight from the small end to get your straight boards.she's always been the hot one.
@15:31
You're a way off on your gullets on your saw teeth you need to leave more back of the tooth on ,so you're not just using the tip . It will increase the life of the blade
My guess is 72 1 x 6
