    I wish you would do more of the reveal by hosing the planks down after you cut it. I'll bet that white oak had some beautiful "flake" in it. But I love what y'all do. Perfect set up out there.

    I wish I had land to do some milling. I love the smell of fresh cut wood. We had some Juniper cut from a large tree that fell in Eastern Oregon and made new bathroom sink tops with natural granite bowls on top. They are beautiful. Thanks for the videos.

    Back home, (Southern California) they soak the wood in salt brine to preserve the wood and make it last a hell of a lot longer.

    That was very good sawing. It was much easier with the different sawmill. No manual turning of the logs much easier.

    I can see it in your eyes how that LT 40 takes a load off of y'all. I was guessing it took about 30 min. to saw those boards, an hour for 461 board feet would be well into the $k especially at H.Depot or Lowes. That's awesome Tyler! Happy for ya

    Throughly enjoy the videos. Love the old tractors too. You two make a great team. I'm glad you got the newer band saw so it would take some of the work off the 2 of you. From my point of view it is enjoyable watching what some of the ugliest trees torn into, sawed into lumber

    Take them White oak boards and spray them with some diesel fuel and used motor oil mix and they will last for years on a trailer deck.

    Do you guys saw chestnut logs? I’ve never saw anyone sawing it, here in italy it’s used a lot for outdoor use and it’s the best, even better than oak

    FYI I have a pair of Red Tailed Hawks that fly with me as I bush hog and reply as I whistle to them. Also have 2 pair of Great Horned Owls that have been here for years. The only thing that is in danger here are Coyotes. Be safe.
