Custom LEGO CN Locomotive MOC - 8x64 STUDS! ES44DC Train
Ойын-сауық
This is the most spectacular Custom LEGO Locomotive I have ever seen! It is MASSIVE (64 studs long and 8 studs wide), motorized, highly detailed, and has custom stickers. It is a to-scale model of the CN US44DC Locomotive. This particular model was built by Ryan Harris ( / lego_aviator ) and won train of the year award at the 2019 BrickCan in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
It is huge... you have to see it too believe it!
No detail was spared!
Has custom sticker elements
It's motorized with the new BlueTooth Powered Up functions
Represents the modern-day CN US44DC Locomotive

Most accurate Lego train I've literally ever seen

It´s not a train, but a engine or locomotive. A train consists of cars and a locomotive.

Honestly, I like steam trains better more like Flying scottsman A3 or the P2

@@bluebear6570 you don't think I already know that. I'd just rather type out "train" than locomotive
It looks beautiful. It might need an engineer minifigure hanging out/off it but otherwise perfect. It does look a little scary going around those corners!

Thanks! Yeah this scale is definitely designed for a larger setup with wider corners

My dash 9 that I have also does that there really isn’t a way to get around the curve of LEGO tracks

Hi I subscriber
Nice, as a Railfanner, looks super accurate
I wish LEGO made modern diesel locomotives like this Gevo.

They could if they wanted to, but for some reason they don't choose to. I doubt it is that difficult to find a license (ex: the BNSF GP38) because really, they'd be promoting a train company/brand.

@@cnrailfan3473 yeah. What I meant is that if they decided to get a license from a specific train group (ex: CSX or Amtrak), the company might take that offer right away since they're technically being promoted though LEGO.
Luvly to the guy...... okay brick works sticker detail awsum..
Why the heck didn’t I get a notification for this?!?! I’ve absolutely loved this loco since first sight in Instagram! Definitely an inspiration! Actually saw this today at the Greater Edmonton Train Show! Glad Ryan got it up and running as well!

Good job. Love a good locomotive. FYI - The video title and description has a typo: the model is not a CN US44DC, but a GE ES44DC.
Wow I wish that was a Lego kit. Amazing!
Just an FYI, the 2 tanks inset on the Engineers side are air tanks (main reservoir) for the brake system on the loco and train brakes. Nice model.

Yes indeed and the diesel tanks are on the opposite side. Thanks appreciate the feedback and view!

Edmonton Canada my spiritual 53.4 North twin town with my home town. Us northerners have to stick together, and that be one smart looking train...I wants it.
I love how Canadians say "decal"
The rear wheel on the side is a hand brake.
do you sell the PDF? This one is really super nice
so that means all the lego city train sets are the british loading gauge?
Looks Cool! But My ALCO MRS-1 Diesel Train and my EMD MRS-1 Diesel Train are way Cooler.

Amezing! The and tutorial?????
How can I buy this
When sume body build sume thing custom but say s thear not really into it. But might do more of same build ..CA's dad had Lego train in the 70 s an 80 s. Amazing build. I luv train but that don't mean I could build one. I'm a try do a custom build. As I collect parts needed. I'm building a tram .customising it. got from Lego city squer set...
Minifig scale.
What's funny is North American and British locomotives in real life use the same track scale but American locos are SIGNIFICANTLY bigger. Look up the Scottsman's tour of the US. All that to say, I don't know if the European team you have is really that far off scale-wise to the custom locomotive
Dash 9 loco I see
I want to know if anyone has made a CN SD60F
could you please help me build a train for me. it is my dream to have one. greetings from Mexico
