I literally jumped in my seat when you placed your firearm on the table pointed at Hank. PLEASE be more careful, and maybe edit that part out. Too early in the morning to give me a scare like that. Poor Hank. That being said, excellent video and content. I’ve already checked out his website for a Father’s Day wishlist (maybe Christmas if we’re dealing with Coronavirus quarantine), and have shared the video with multiple people. Really quality quarantine viewing; thanks KZread algorithm for pushing it my way.

This guy should narrate audio books and do commercials! “Meat, It ain’t for pussies!” I don’t need much encouragement but it would push me to go buy a ribeye!
Finally, a 30 min You tube video that Genuinely has ZERO time wasting in it!! This man is not only incredibly skilled in his craft, but also skilled in being succinct in his descriptions and so wonderfully relevant in all the tips and information he describes! Plus his voice is just wonderful to listen to taboot!

I love this because I know what some people see here is “I can do that, no problem”. But see I make custom canvas stuff for boats etc on the side and I thought that too when I first started. He’s happy to show you all the details because he knows damn well even with that knowledge it would take a few years to get good. I laugh every time people say they can do what I do. I tell gladly. And that’s not saying anyone shouldn’t do what i do or what he does for themselves…. Quite contrary…definitely do it yourself. It just takes a certain dedication to really become that master that most people can’t even understand till they try it themselves… and he knows and I know that there’s nothing wrong with that, we aren’t losing business in fact just creating more… because you make something for yourself and it may be slightly imperfect but it’s special to you so you keep it and use it…. Then if you did a good enough job someone else asks you to do one for them but they lowball you and you realize the lessons are just beginning

TLDR: the ppl that got really good at stuff like this did so because of a drive to say they make a better product… for themselves and their own detailed sense. The honorable ones keep going on to be masters because it is themselves that they try to please with the quality first

I have met Mr. Andrew’s several times at the Orlando gun show. He is a very nice man and a highly talented craftsman. I have three of his holsters and they are excellent quality.
This guy was such a gentleman and so professional. He literally showed every step of his production process. Awesome video!
What an awesome craftsman. simply beautiful workmanship.

The Bob Ross of holster making... 👍 Awesome video.
As a leather worker and holster maker myself, I still come back to this video every so often because I say, "What would Anderson do?" I love that he covers the tools and time associated with being a hobbyist and a high production shop. We were all just hobbyists at one point!
Watching a true craftsman at work is always a joy. It's also nice to see that not everything is cranked out in some sweatshop in China. Thanks for the very entertaining video Hank!
I love seeing old-school craftsmen create things like this. Mass production has its merits, but the human element involved in skillful hand production will always deserve the premium it demands. The only negative thing about watching someone create something like this is my envy.

He is so smooth.Got more skill than most everyone put together.
Hank, 5 stars once again. I have watched this one twice and probably have another turn in me. So many people are afraid to share what theyve learned to their "competition". It seems Mr. Andrews encourages the next generations of craftsmen to learn from his mistakes and he is eager to teach. Thanks to both of you.
I would love to learn the art of holster making from this guy...what a master craftsman he is. Great video, thanks for posting!!

It can be frustrating to learn from a master. They make everything look so effortless, and you mess up again and again.
Hank is the hero we all need.
American craftsmanship at its finest! Great vid.
Feel like this guy should be narrating a book....great craftsmanship..
Is this guy available to read childrens books on tape? I feel like my son would grow a beard listening to him read "Goodnight moon" . Awesome holster maker and great use of the English language. A plus video.
Nice video, Hank. I love watching true craftsmen make it all look easy.
nice to see quality craftsmanship, something that is quickly disappearing in today's world
I have Mr. Andrews making me a Monarch Rig for my 92FS. I learned of him actually through the magazine Gun Tests this past month. I had tried two Galcos and just was not happy. So, I figured if I'm spending this kinda money I may as well get a hand made one. My only critical thing to say here is I feel it would have been a respectful thing to have below the video where you have all your "support" products to have all of Mr. Andrews Sites and contact information. He did have you there and was a gracious host.
He made a Gun Belt for me about 25 or 30 years ago that I still use on a daily basis with a variety of different weapons and holsters. I have 2 new holsters on order now for 2 new pistols that sort of require me to carry in a different configuration due to physical changes. Glad to wait for delivery, 86 now, just hope the Lord allows me time. Best stuff I ever owned.
I believe these are the best made, and best looking holsters on the market.
It's so nice to see a real craftsman at work. Bueatful work.

He Is the new Sean Connery 👍🇺🇸 he’s a great teacher excellent products! I’m sold
He makes the best holsters ever made. I've had them all.
Man that guy has a great voice. He sould have a radio show.
*Now there's a craftsman, he doesn't cut corners as some may, and in the end, you get more then what you paid for...superior quality!! ;-)*
As soon as I finished watching Sam make these holsters I immediately called his shopand ordered the "carjacker".
This guy is not only a master at leather, he could also be a narrator.
That guy has an epic voice, You can tell he takes pride in his leather work, I think I'll buy one of his holsters!
Love to see a quality product being made with care and craftsmanship. It's obvious this man takes a lot of pride in his work and the end result proves it. Like it has been said many times before, the difference between doing a job and doing it right is usually just a few more minutes. Great video, thanks for making it!
Sam Andrews, top of the line!
Amazing work TU...it's not too difficult but takes a whole lotta patience. and old frats like me have none left.
I got to give you credit for one of the best executed interviews ever. Videography, lighting, sound and editing was spot on. You should be proud of this and put it up for an award. I felt compelled to watch the entire thing. And...I'm gonna get "Sean Connery" to make a holster for me as well!
Just a great presentation by a superb craftsman. I will vote with my money: Andrews Custom Leather will be making my holster.
Great American engineering. Beautiful craftsmanship.
Sir I hope you have plenty of kids around to share your passion with. If not, although I'm turning 39, I'm ready to be adopted. Thank you for allowing us to see the process from start to finish. Years of patience/swearing/mistakes I see in front of me.
I've always admired his work. I also didn't expect his "radio/documentary voice; made me smile a bit.

Guns4Texas: I have to agree with you. I make my own holsters and I learned several great things from Mr. Andrews in this video!!!!!
There is more to a holster than a quick glance reveals. Impressively labor intensive.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thanks for making it. The "artist" is fabulous with his skills.
I've watched a few holster making videos and they were informative but when I came upon this one I was stuck in awe! What a master leather craftsmen he is and very well spoken at that. He truly exudes old world craftsmanship with an authoritative and gentlemanly demeanor! If I don't try to tackle making my own leather holster I know where I'll be placing an order for one soon! Awesome video and thanks for posting...
This man is an arteest. His work is only mayched by that smooth, confident voice he has. I will be ordering one just like in the video.
Anerican craftsmanship at it’s best. Beautiful work - and great video.
By far the best and most informational video I have ever watched on You-Tube.
I could watch this guy for HOURS his voice and the way he explains everything is amazing good work sir
Thank you Mr. Strange and Mr. Andrews for making this video. It was very informative.
As a leatherworker Myself . I admire Mr. Andrews work .
Zero wasted time very good video and very detailed
Thank you for the time saving hints. Mistakes we’d have all made. Plus, your voice would be good for audible books. There’s a fortune in that.
I love the fact a always seems to have a smile it shows the joy he had for what he does. I love that.
Lot´s of life, history, wisdom, and love on these holsters. May all last forever.
...just watched this again! Sam Andrews is a "True Leather Artesian" ';-) Thank You Hank Strange for bringing this professionals work to life!
Old world craftsmanship at its absolute finest!! Thanks for posting👍
i love watching a master craftsman at work. great vid
This would be an actual master class I would be very happy to pay for. Nicely done, to the point, and shows off the master in his craft.
I LIKE LEATHER HOLSTERS BETTER THAN WHAT SWAT USES TODAY. GREAT WORK FOR THIS ARTESANIST.
Great video on a man sharing the wisdom and pride of great craftsmanship. Gorgeous holsters.
I’ll never make one of these holsters but it’s fun to watch an experienced craftsman do the work. Thank you for the video.
I called to order my saddle holster for my beretta 96 compact no rail today. Sam answered the phone! How special. He wasn't in a rush to get me off the phone and even shared a couple stories with me. So inspiring!
This guy is a true craftsman! I think eventually I'll have to get a holster from him. I wish I would have seen this video last week. I just ordered a pancake holster for my CZ P-01 from a different company. These are much better quality for close to the same price.
been doing my own leather work for years . this video has really shown me easier ways of each process and shed light on the matter. thank you Hank and the gentleman Leather Crafter.
I have 3 different holsters from Sam because of this vid. Incredible quality, everyone should own one!!
Sir you are well spoken, and a True Artist. Love the Video and your Patience.
Would love to take a hands-on class (during the winter) with this gentleman, just for the experience.
My gosh, your voice is amazing. You may have one of the best American accents.
As many others have said, amazing video! Never seen this done before so when I saw a link to this video I had to watch it. Very very interesting to see how these holsters are made. Thank you for posting this!
I just watched this video AGAIN... Love Sam Andrews's work ';-) Thanks Hank Strange for these productions!
I am glad he stamped his brand. I will definitely be looking.
Exceptional craftsmanship, such a joy to see artisan work like this.
OMG such a good professional and also such a charismatig and good looking gentleman! What a great product, love it! All the best, Cristian
All of Sam’s stuff is excellent.
I have several pieces of gun leather made by Mr. Andrews, and he is an absolute joy to work with. There is a bit of a wait, however when you get holster, belt, or whatever else, it is of the finest quality, and I would gladly wait twice as long. He is, when you order by phone, which at this time, I believe, is the only way to order, a jovial, gentleman, who genuinely takes an interest in you, and in how you will use what you are buying. Right now, I’m saving up for something new, and I look forward to speaking to Sam Andrews again. I could not give him a higher recommendation. Great work, fairly priced products, thoughtfully designed, and you will have a new friend as well. That’s value!
NICE WORK. TRUE CRAFTSMAN. YOUR WORK IS MUCH APPRECIATED. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL...THANKS!

Love his voice. I would pay real money to get him to say "meanwhile, back at the hall of justice". Lol
fkn tremendous, a real craftsman that knows his trade with pride and passion. you sir are an institution within yourself
MR Rodgers knockoff! but informative, attention to detail, and in the end a beautiful piece. well done!
Well done Very cool job ... this professional guy deserves respect
Excellent video...thanks for making & sharing it 🤠
"Trial and error, with heavy emphasis on the error part" "But I do keep a good supply of bandaids in the shop" "Commence the pumping" I could listen to this guy all day.
Very cool guy such a humble trade.great stuff!
He makes that look so easy, and its clearly not. A great tradesman!
I haven't made holsters, yet. But many of the techniques and hints in the video can be applied to knife sheaths, quivers, and other products. Also, from a video production standpoint, very well edited. Thank you so much for your knowledge and time!
Now I see why quality leather holsters are so dang expensive. So much time and care goes into the making of them. Fantastic video, and like everyone else said, I'd buy a copy of an audio clip of this guy reading the dictionary.
Excellent workmanship, and great voice you should get into radio !
