Just absolutely amazing. I cannot imagine the trial and error that it took to reach this level of expertise with just this one model of his holster.
I've made several holsters now, and have to say, seeing Sam make these is stunning. The skill of this man is beyond compare.
Sam is a talented person.
This guy is the Bob Ross of holsters
Oh wow!! AWESOME!! We finally get to see the guy who says "the Hank Strange Experience. Lifestyles Of The Locked & Loaded"

Thank you Sam for sharing your experience, and thank you Hank for bringing him to us.
Loved it! Always enjoy watching his craftsmanship.
The shoulder break shoulder holster has been my go-to holster for forty years. It was the first holster I ever bought. TY for showing us your truly exceptional work.

What a pleasure to watch artists at work.
with out a doubt that is the most interesting lesson I've ever looked at. Good Job.
Amazing work and detail, superb!
Beautiful workmanship. !!!
Excellent leather craftsmanship and what a beautiful holster you make! I have watched the video on how to measure and make a pattern, I’m getting there with my own version but it’s takes time and patience to make these holsters. Keep the videos coming! 👍
Sam love it so cool great holster be calling you . 😊
That dance with the stitcher was great , not many people realize the amount of dedication that it takes to master an industrial sewing machine , much less one of these harness machines !!! Awesome job and thanks to Hank for bringing the content to light
Awesome build!!! You are the Bob Ross of holster building.
Hank, thank you for bringing these amazing videos and Sam to us. Sam you do amazing and beautiful work. I've been doing leather work for over 20 years as a hobby but now that I'm disabled and can't work, I'm trying ti turn it into a small home based business. I do all kinds of medieval works, holsters, sheaths, even artwork to hang on the walk. I've taken snd adopted several of your techniques and tips into my work. Thanks for the fantastic content, teaching and inspiring that you do.

YW David, on behalf of myself and Sam DM me on social media I'd like to see some of your work
Those are gorgeous holsters. And a great video 👍🏻👍🏻
Even at 2 hours long I could watch Sam work his magic ! A true craftsman is a dying art, I don't even make leather holsters ! Just stunning to watch a Master. Thanks for posting and keep them coming.
Thank you for the enjoyable video. Leatherworking is an ancient, impressive craft I hope to someday learn and this video is a good reminder of that. This fellow also has a good speaking voice he could be the Bob Ross of leatherwork or do books on tape/voice acting.
Myself being a amateur leather worker I can really appreciate the time and dedication put into these pieces of art.
Truly a Master of his CRAFT
Wow. Thank you very much for doing these videos. I am so amazed by the supreme craftsmanship of mr. Andrews. It would be lovely if you coul make a video about the carjacker holster ( how its made) or to just show how to work with stingray leather ( its very hard and there are not such videos that are teaching it). You guys motivated me to make my first leather holster. Thank you for that. Greetings from Slovakia. Keep up the good work
I watched the saddle holster video 3 years ago and it started my journey into leather working. I made a few holsters and sold a few. In the end I found small leather goods and bags were a better fit for me. I still make a few holsters now and then but there are many makers out there with more skill in holsters. All that being said I am so glad I watched Sam make that first holster because of what it has given me in my life. I will watch any video you put up with Sam making something in it. I was try to use Al Stohlman pattern for a shoulder holster but it went a bit pear shaped on me. Lol Thanks again Sam.
I love your leather work videos. Learned a lot from them. Greetings from Poland :)

Totally AMAZED by anything "Sam Andrews" designed and built! Can't wait till I order again, but can't decide on this "Spring Break" or a "Monarch" for my 1911's Thanks for these videos Hank... ';-)

you're welcome Conquest...hmm, tough decision, if it's a really snazzy 1911 I'd go for an exotic skin Monarch, or a spring break with extra mag holders, lol I know that prob doesn't help
I love these vídeos you make with Sam Andrews...My next holster is goimg to be made by Sam...Such quality...Craftsmanship...Just awesome!!!!!... Thanks Hank for these videos...Most informative!!!
I got one of those back in the 80s for my 29 still got it
Great content, thanks Team!
BEAUTIFUL work thumbs UP and thank you for the video. :)
That holster is amazing! If I ever get me a S&W M&P R8 I’d love to get one of these for it. Along with the 6 moon clip holder for it too. Imagine 56 rounds of 357 magnum in one holster!
Gr8 work...I wish I could buy a holster for my 40 cal and 9mm!
Sam is a talented guy, very impressive.
These were widely available in local gun shops well into the 90s
Very interesting! Thanks!

Shir Shawn Connery is here again !!! Love Mr. Andrews!
Wonderful professional😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hank, thanks for another great video, and Sam, I continue to be impressed with your work, specifically your methods and your skills and experience. Since we spoke on the phone over a month ago when I ordered my carjacker cross-draw from you I am convinced that I will always order from you. I just hope now that with your likely heavy workload, you will be there for my orders. Tom KC3QAC
I'll tell you when you do someone make a holster like that or work with their hands you appreciate the product even more nice job
AMAZING!!!
Sam my name is Dennis Fain and I’m from Spartanburg South Carolina I like the program that Hank uses to let people know about your holsters
Spring assembly: Why not to lubricate? Use wax in spring and perhaps at inner channel in the leather before gluing/stitching it together. Nice vid thx!
Hello I enjoyed watching what weight is your mallet. Thanks
I own three Andrew's holsters..G19 ...CZ75B ..........GP100 ... Best holsters I own ...l use a little Mink oil to keep em conditioned. Sam looks a little bit like Bill Clinton (when bill was like 25) ...Good job mate ,best holster maker on the planet!!!
Been waiting sense August 25th for my solo rig, how much longer please.
Where does Sam source his blades that he uses to cut out the leather shapes? They seem fairly unique - I've been using a round knife but this seems so much easier.
If anyone has been thinking about getting a holster from Andrew's custom leather i HIGHLY recommended them i have one of Andrew's holster it's the best holster i own. I will be ordering more in the future

@@hankstrange most welcome can't wait to get more holsters
I don´t like your fascination for guns :) but I love to see the leatherworks!!
I have a 500 S&W magnum with a 6.5 inch semi-lug barrel. I use only open sights. The revolver unloaded weighs just over 60 ounces. Is this able to be made for my size revolver?
I have an old style vertical leather shoulder holster for my M1911.
What is the preferred glue? Oh I see you said Barge cement not contact cement?
How do sharpen your knife or cutter ?
I"m curious about the patterns. Does Sam have a "master" pattern that he traces when a working pattern is becoming worn out and a new one is needed? I've learned with wood working if you trace a pattern then use that piece of cut out wood for the next pattern, then repeat that process, the pattern will grow over time. So its wise to use the same piece over and over as the pattern. (does that make sense?). I was wondering if Sam followed that process as well?
Functional Art. Also, this guy should audiobooks. He has a great voice.

I agree, he would make a great narrator...he does the open for our videos
I need one of those for my 8 3/8 model 29. Mmmmmm. :-)
Sam is doing one of these for my light weight model 329PD revolver with a 4.25 inch ported barrel. I called we spoke and I will be contacted when he begins making the holster. But the Monarch being free floating makes me question that? My model 329PD only weighs about 30 ounces so the Monarch may be better?
It would be nice to see how to draw.
Do you sell to Europe?
Hey check out Amazon under Tandy edge bevels
If you all would start using millimeters like the rest of the entire word it shur would be nice
You didn’t show how it fits in the body.
I said “that’s what she said “ SOOO MANY TIMES
San Andrews is the Best in the World!.
I'm big fan of your work. But honestly , i didn't like this design 👍
Not a fan of leather holsters. They may look great when new but require maintenance to keep looking good and maintain function. I am more of a functionality type kind of guy don't like fancy wooden stocks (unless it is going to be a walk hanger) But if someone were to make this style in nylon and kydex for a reasonable price I would be all over it.

understood Kirk, I think everyone has their preferences for sure (especially when it comes to purpose of use), at the same time leather holsters built right are pretty tough, comfortable and not as much maintenance as it looks. Thanks for taking the time to check this out

Its like anything made out of leather. As you wear it for many years it gets better over time and forms to you. Like Your belt, shoes or jacket. Yes it will get scuffs, dings and dents but that's what I like about leather. It shows the use and the love you have for it.
How much would it cost to make a shoulder holster for a left-handed shooter for 357 magnum “4” barrel
