Custom Cases for our Custom Basses
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Our signature Nate Navarro bases are a success! After first orders came in, we had to make a suitable containers for them since no market ready cases are big enough for them. I hope you will enjoy this a little bit different video from what you are accustomed to. No music this time, just workshop noises and frames speed up 500% at the most. Just make sure to turn on the CC for more info:) Enjoy!

I am glad you showed the foul-up with the CNC router. Most folks would leave that part out, it was great to see you have issues like everyone else. Your cases for basses are going cool places, taking up spaces....
I still can't believe you only have 330.000 subscribers, this channel is incredible and everything you produce deserves so much more recognition!
Very impressive! Recently, there was an old business in the USA (Nazareth, Pennsylvania) called "Martin Guitars" that closed its doors after many decades of making unique, hand-crafted guitars for the public, including many very famous musicians around the world. Your guitar case reminds me of that iconic business.

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it:). I just hope we wont have to close our door any time soon. We barely even started:)
Finding this company and seeing where it's from might have been the first time ever I was proud of the county I live in. Absolutely gorgeous work on all these instruments

Oooh, the shot of applying the glue in that jig at 6:02 is so satisfying. Clever!
Very nice lightweight case. Almost like a rigid gig-bag. Nice work.

Glad you like it! That was almost exactly an idea behind it. We still have to modify some of the elements like rigid hinges instead of the straps but I think we are on the right direction.
Although I don't usually hit the like button, this time I'll do it because the editing was awesome and because you asked, G ;) Cheers from Buenos Aires mate!!!!
Beautiful and excellent craftmanship
Very classy. Well done.
I love all of your videos! But my favoutites are the house building videos. I wonder when we can warch the next episode and how much work is there before moving in.
Was just having a conversation with myself this week about needing to build a case for a new guitar. Thanks for the inspiration!! Beautiful work!
Beautiful!
Wonderful
Nice build. And it gave me some ideas for future projects. I do miss the robot videos. Are they now unemployed since you have the large CNC?
Great looking Basses & Cases very impressive, do you have a music wall or room in the new house ?
❤ them
Nice.

Thanks!:)
We’ve had quite a few custom baritones built for our band -Baritone Cult and none of them came with a custom built case . This is really impressive, good on you guys . I’ve had my eye on one of your custom bass guitars for a while . We had Mayones build us a custom bass 34-37 scale for our tuning G D G C E A . It works but we really need a 37-40 or 39-42 like you build . Maybe I’ll get ahold of you through email , my only concern is getting nickel strings in those longer scale lengths . We currently use kalium strings 170g - down . I’d like to go longer scale so I can move to a 145 being the largest gauge on the instrument . Keep up the great work you guys are building some impressive stuff . Congrats on your house too Cheers⭕️ Baritone Cult -Erin

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like our work. So far we have managed to meet all of the demands from our customers. We have made basses tuned to E0, F0 and F#0, Since we order string from NewTone custom made for every build, it doesn't really matter what tuning we are going for, this way we always have propper tension. We would love to hear from you via email. There is a lot that we could discuss. Thanks for the house! Hopefully moving in date is not to far away so i can focus more on work like this:) Cheers from Croatia!

very cool. I am working on a similar project in my shop, can you tell me what sprayable adhesive you are using to assemble the case? thanks
Beautiful guitars and cases. But I’m sorry, I can’t believe I’m asking this but, did the glue really smell like strawberries?
Кто из России - тоже на финальных аккордах звучало в голове: "сейчас я вас настигну - вот тогда мы похохочем! Бросай бельё, бросай, кому говорят!"
I love it but that foam seems to have no strength to it, like it doesn't support any weight at all.

Glad you love it!:) I get that it might seam that way from the video but the strength and rigidity comes from the plywood and the softness from the foam. This is a dense foam that is used for furniture which is designed to keep it's form over many years of use and repeated loading and unloading. No worries there, if it can support the person, sure it will support a 4 kg instrument ;)
