I got to see this house in person and film it and I can tell you it really is great quality and beautiful craftsmanship. Janis did amazing with her choices too. So bright and open.

This tiny home is not so tiny it's actually a perfect size. Not wasteful and not too small. Janis and her husband picked a beautiful tiny home to purchase. Plus a beautiful view best of all worlds. Ocean, fresh air, forest/bush with wildlife. Tranquil is the ideal name for it!💜

She had me up until the mountain lion & bear. 😂Maybe, I need to find tiny homes closer to the city. But seriously, Janis's home is beautiful.

The most dangerous animal on the planet are the human beings walking around you. I live in the forest where there are mountain lion, bear, deer, coyotes, and other critters. They just want to be left alone. It's easy to live in peace with them.

@@annesmith5192 I think the stairs are definitely better than a ladder. I’m 70 and stairs are doable plus the storage drawers are very nice! I wonder what is under the rest of the stairs? Definitely a cheerful pleasant warm beautiful home.

Obsessed with watching tiny home videos but this by far my favorite. The full size bdrm on main level, the closet and storage space plus the porch do it for me.

Love it! I hope they're super careful with their adorable pup, considering that there might be bears and mountain lions nearby. I would have a hard time relaxing there because of that.

I really like that this home isn’t to small and doesn’t feel stuffed !! There’s a cute actual living room with fireplace and a regular size bedroom and washer/dryer is a correct area ! I didn’t see any curtains but other than that I really liked it and especially being close to the beach !!! I can’t wait to retire also !!!

Now this is a tiny house I could live in. It has absolutely everything I want and need. And can we just mention that adorable dog!!

I love this tiny home. I love the colors chosen in the house. I also love that it lets in natural light. It's also good that the bedroom is on the 1st floor.

I agree, when you're not entertaining constantly, a sofa is kind of unnecessary. Guess it depends how well the ottoman works if I would need it to recline or not.

What a beautiful tiny home! The only thing that I would add would be some sort of privacy blinds so neighbors couldn't see in at night when I had my lights on indoors.

A first rate tiny home built with exacting craftsmanship and top of the line fixtures and windows. I hope this home brings joy and happiness to Janis and Glenn (?). Its certainly parked in a very desirable location. Unfortunately this home would be totally out of the realm of possibility for most retirees and those of us that are living on fixed incomes and wanting to go tiny as a means of affordable living.

Windows are just what I like. The light is important to me. I also like your colors and everything else.

Love that the main bedroom is on the main floor, I couldn't go up and down a ladder to get to bed at night lol

These are basically the size of many 50s ranch tract homes people had, only without a basement. We lived in one with 3 kids until they became teens. It wasn’t easy, but many great memories.

Her home is so beautiful. I love the colors they chose. You can absolutely tell their homes apart from the rest because they do look like high quality

Tiny house is spacious with a color palette integrating new color which the owners used to the utmost one of the best I have viewed on this channel. Good use of space with oodles of storage too

This place is Huge! You haven't downsized, hon it may be smaller that what you're used to but you could put a family with 3 kids in this space!

Janis and Glen are just shy of full retirement and, during the pandemic, decided to leave their large home and try life in an Airstream. Quickly realizing it was too small, they branched off and ordered a tiny house by Timbercraft Tiny Homes. Their gorgeous new home has vibrant blue accents with high ceilings and massive amounts of windows letting in natural light. A washer and dryer sit in the perfectly sized bathroom, and an electric fireplace warms up the front room. This adorable tiny home is parked in the Oregon community called Tiny Tranquility! Ultra Custom Built Tiny House on the beach w/ Downstairs Bedroom. Love It!!!!!😀

Wow! This is the most beautiful and functional tiny home I think I have seen! From the gorgeous choice of outside color palette to the floor plan and amazing amount of storage, this is just perfect! As a disabled person, many tiny homes only offer lofted bedrooms which won't work for me. But this model with a main floor bedroom as well as a large bath and living room and kitchen is just fantastic! I wish them many happy years enjoying theirbbeautiful home. The only change I would have to make would be to have a ramp built off of the deck so that I could access the home but otherwise it is perfect for me. I will definitely have to check out the builder.

Very nice indeed. Love, that the bedroom is downstairs too. Personally, I'd do without a few of those windows, for I like my privacy more. That spot though... it is spot on! Color scheme inside and out very nice.

The cost of the house($154,000) was a lot for us but there’s not very many places left in the US that you could buy a two bedroom house for that amount of money. At least a place you’d want to live! 😊

Nice tiny home

Lovely home! The only thing I would change is that long hallway. It's a lot of wasted storage/closet space, in my opinion. I would have entered the bathroom adjacent to the stairs (straight ahead from the kitchen), and had the washer/dryer in front of the bathroom door, which would leave the existing w/d space free for a large closet, then a sliding door between the closet and the sink, into the master bedroom. Essentially it would give me space in the bathroom to use as a dressing room (or have an upper and lower cabinet there, with a countertop to fold clothes, and use the cabinets for linen closet, toiletries, and cleaning supplies, freeing up more space in the bedroom for clothes, shoes and other stored items).

I am so impressed by your home. I'm watching the video over and over. I just love those cabinets and the unique drawers in the steps and bed and all of those windows. Now this is a dream home. All I need now is to imagine a beach that I would put that type of home near. Thank you for coming on utube, you just helped me to make a decision of what type of design I really like for myself. Those cabinets in the kitchen are amazing. The doors and drawers sit inside the box and are custom.

I love that the master bedroom is downstairs. This is the most pleasantly spacious tiny home I've yet to see. It gives me some idea of what I'll eventually have built when I go into full retirement. I just hope I can find a similar builder near the Olympic Peninsula!

I think this is the most functional and beautiful tiny home I've seen. Would love to know the square footage and cost

@@cyndij8312 I think the general design is good, but I don't think she makes very good use of the upper loft space. She just has the high ceilings just to have high ceilings, but there is a ton of space up there that is un-utilized. I think the newest design of a lowered staircase adjacent to the lofts where people can stand upright is the best idea. I like a lot of what she did here, but again, for me these tiny houses are not so great. You get no land, and they cost a fortune unless you make it yourself. This one has some real good features, but people who try to live 2 or even a couple with a kid ... just seems not feasible.

Lovely home. I love looking at tiny homes in general but am much more interested in ones that people live in full time, since that's the only way I would go tiny. Definitely can't relate to a situation like this, where there's more storage than the owner needs 😂

I have been looking at tiny homes online for awhile the tiny homes don't look as spacious until you go inside and then to my amazement there are beautiful ceilings that are so high and open you would never guess how big some of them actually are

Nicest tiny home I've seen yet. I would love for this company to build me one. I like this model. I can already see the changes I'd make to suit me. Such as eliminating the window behind the TV and making it a solid wall. Adding bookshelves to the left wall in Lvg room. Love the color selections!

I love the whole concept ! I personally don't care for gas ! I would just grill a lot . I love all the storage !!! I would want mines with two levels to be able to walk around in my upstairs bedroom. I adore the first floor bedroom concept , it's really awesome.

There are height restrictions on tiny homes, so you'd have to sacrifice in another area.

@@shirleyashanti3031 Yes as I learn more about the tiny home movement , I see that there are many restrictions ! But I've seen a four bedroom tiny home and I know it can be done ! Also in some areas where multiple tiny homes are located in one area , there are crazy restrictions ! But I think with land you can build it how you want. I'm just assuming here but I noticed the laws in CT being similar but different from the laws in GA as far as building on land . My niece is about to purchase land and build she is using shipping containers , I've been assisting her in certain designs and ideas !

You did a beautiful job with your custom choices. Your home is lovely and your plan to put the loft above the bathroom is well thought -out.

I thought the same thing as well. It is perfect except for the windows with no blinds. And unless it is motorised, it would be challenging because some of the windows are very high up.
