Curry Powder Seafood Stir Fry | The STIR Fry That Everyone Thinks Is a CURRY!
This special dish is a mixture of tamarind chilli paste, curry powder and evaporated milk. It's a real treat and is one of those rare dishes that although spicy is considered mid level in terms of spice.
Here's the recipe:
🟢
Mixed seafood
2 Tbsp of evaporated milk
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
2 Tbsp soy sauce
4 Cloves of garlic
1 Stick of Chinese celery
1 Tbsp Curry powder
2 Tbsp Tamarind chilli paste (nam prig Pao)
Half tsp of sugar
Half a white onion sliced
Half a red pepper sliced
Half a green pepper sliced
1 spring onion (the green part)
1 coriander sprig
2 Eggs
1 Large sweet chilli
1 cup of water to use if the wok is getting dry
As with all Asian cooking this is a rough guide with regards to amounts, adjust for your own taste and spice tolerance.
If you want to make it spicier then toast birds eye chillies instead of large sweet chilli.

    Yummy, I have madras curry powder for a few East Asian recipes. Drives me crazy how that area traded with each other and migrants brought their own flavours and mixed them into local dishes to create such a mix that’s just so tasty. All that area of the world is crazy amazing and the people seem so lovely and always happy 😀🇹🇭🇸🇬🇬🇧🇲🇾🇮🇳🇳🇵

    Oooh so tasty. How come Thai people are so slim and healthy looking and beautiful with so healthy food I guess? . I try all your recipies. Soo tasty. . Just magical.     I agree, its the same with Nepalis so I think its all over Asia. When I went last year for 2.5 weeks I stuffed my fat face as much as I could and lost 2 kg by the time I got back! They are mostly smaller than us but the food portions quite large. I was well fed all over and for a week in Kathmandu my Gurkha friends family made sure I was so full all the time. At 11am they ate Dal Baht and again around 8pm yet I lost weight! Like you said, speaking to others about this magic it could be that nearly everything I had was fresh and not from packets or processed or frozen. Its all local food as they simply do not have the network or freezers let alone in the smaller towns and villages. And all so happy too, especially when I spoke to them in Nepali and said their food was better than UK food 😂😂

    I dont have tamarind chili paste. Can i substitute it somehow by combining normal tamarind paste with something spicy or do you prefer to get the tamarind chili paste?

    Here in the UK we use TRS Madras powder
