I had a really hard time switching from the train to the bus once I arrived in Cullera from Valencia. I was really glad to have a fluent Spanish speaker with me because she even had trouble getting help with the bus information. Originally I wanted to take an Uber or similar from the train station to the beach but the price was like 65 euro. I was getting ready just to walk when we finally were able to figure out the bus.

I've seen that sign driving through there too. But, never been. I just did a cost of living in Spain video for what I think it will cost.

Yeah the beach is great there but concrete is not very appealing and pretty dead most of the time. Locals told me the tourists come only in August to here

I find very strange that this town did not develope much and is not occuppied by expats all year around as it would have made it a perfect place to live due to its proximity to Valencia. The property market is mainly condos and indeed very sleepy during non summer months. Which is sad

Amovens is probably the best & cheapest car hire in Valencia, with cars as low as 18€ a day & only 200€ deposit on debit card, no credit card required!

That's not bad! I've had a lot of luck with car rentals in the off seasons. I know it seems impossible, but I've even paid less than 1 dollar/euro per day. Recently, they haven't been quite that low, but sometimes you can get killer deals. I use Skyscanner to search for the best deals. I have a link in my bio for easy access to it. 🙂
