I don't know if this mixture will work for cucumbers or not. However, it sitting there 5 days in the water will most certainly breed mosquitoes, especially in this summer's heat.....🤣

If you were smart a simple piece of screen over the top would prevent that. Common sense void?

Add Bt (mosquito bits). Another thing you can do is just add a light cloth on top to prevent the mosquito female from laying eggs. It reminds me of similar concoctions like "funky swamp juice" or something like that.

That would be great. Let them lay, then dump the eggs on plants. Win-win!

Nettles Moss Sorrel leaves Dandelion leaves Plantain leaves Grind Equal amounts of each in 10 liters of water. Let sit five days, stirring occasionally. Apply 1 liter per plant base. Can also apply to leaves as a foliar drench. I would also add comfrey to the list.

Any plant is the same as cutting grass and leaving the cuttings. When it rains Nitrogen would get back to the grass cut grass become part of soil.

I don't have Nettle in my garden. can I use something else instead of Nettle?
