    Every time after washing rice,lentils put the water in a bucket and put that onto your plants. It helps to fertile your mud and helps to grow your plants for a lot of flowering and fruits.

    @Rao Kadambari exactly. That is why we here in Texas use cotton seed meal as an organic fertilizer or alfalfa meal based prepared plant food. Cotton seed meal can be fed to animals that are rumenants but other mammels can not eat it.

    Really? In my garden, I would be essentially feeding the resident mice. In my garden, it's useless planting peas in the ground by seed due to the hungry varmints digging up the little gems very quickly. I wouldn't want to risk damage to my cucumber roots as the critters search for more 'peas'. But then I live beside a forest. I'm jealous of ye whom haven't such worries.

    Put out dishes of cornmeal (or cornbread mix) mixed with equal amount of baking soda. Mice and rats cannot digest baking soda but they love cornmeal. The eat the mixture, leave and die within an hour or two. Safe around dogs and cats and birds, they can digest baking soda. If you think the critters live in your home or structure you'll have to do a thorough search to clear out nests and patch or screen off access points after.

    My cat hunts my garden. It's somewhat annoying because he likes to show off so he brings dead things up and then my dog steals his prize. I live by woods too and have so many pine trying to grow up in my garden. Tired of keeping up with those things. Someone should do a video on that. LOL

  • @rogerhickson7256

    @rogerhickson7256

    2 жыл бұрын

    It can't hurt but as soon as you water the plant the peas will start to soften. I don't see the point of this though as liquid fertilizers would work better and are readily bio-available to the plant. Solid fertilizers take time to break down which is ok as well but not if you are trying to speed up the process.
