Me too. I live in Florida and there is NO shortage of ants. They are a huge problem in the garden.

Dang that really sucks, you probably have aphids problem because ants don’t typically go on plants unless they have a food source such as aphids. Aphids shoot out some sugar that then the ant eats and shares with the colony and the aphids work hand in hand the ants don’t kill the aphids because they are producing the sugars they need to survive.

So overall I believe you will have a infestation of more ants if u do put sugar and that is something this dude who makes the videos doesn’t consider Try using unsulfured molasses mix it with some water that doesn’t attract ants and produces beneficial bacteria and fungi for your garden

Honestly don’t listen to this dude he is giving advice good for his climate and his circumstance he doesn’t take in consideration that people grow organically or have problem in their soil Watch MiGardener or Epic Gardening they show you real organic and go in detail what u might be doing wrong and how to do things correctly

@@MD-ki7qw Thanks for your recommendation! I've seen some yellow eggs under the baby leaves. I've just started growing cucumbers so I guess you're right about aphids.. 😭😭

What all plants need is GOOD SOIL, which then feeds the plants, this is totally unnecessary and potentially negative

My cucumbers are growing shorts and fat, and I have more than one type yet they're both doing the same thing. Any suggestions?

Put sugar on your tomato plants and you will get sweet tomatoes.
