Beautiful footage of the three Lion Cubs fathered by Casper The White Lion and Brothers calling their mother while the Aunt with the Elbow Hygroma is babysitting.
Where is the mother? The cubs are getting restless.
This is the Satara Lion Pride controlled by Casper and his three Shish Brothers.
Filmed on the H1-3 next to the N'wanetsi River bridge just south of Satara in Kruger National Park.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance and turn OFF your engine
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

It reminds me how Bambi was alone in bushes , scared and calling for his mother. But suddenly old stag Prince appeared and asked "What are you calling for? Your mother hasn’t got the time to spend on you now!” the elder continued. Bambi was completely cowed by this imperious voice, but at the same time he felt admiration for it. “Can’t you be by yourself for a while? You should be ashamed of yourself " Well, at least these cubs had babysitters. And mom finally showed up as well .

An elbow hygroma is a fluid-filled swelling that occurs over the elbow joint. ... Elbow hygromas are non-painful and can occur over any bony prominence or pressure point, including the 'sit bones' of the hip and/or hock joint, but they are most often seen over the elbow. Elbow hygromas occur when large and giant breed animals frequently lay on hard surfaces, such as paved roads which repeatedly causes minor trauma to the thin skin over a bony prominence The definition of hygroma in the dictionary is a swelling in the soft tissue that occurs over a joint, usually caused by repeated injury. A hygroma is a false bursa, which is a non-painful, fluid-filled swelling surrounded by a thick, fibrous capsule that develops under the skin. Hygromas most commonly develop on the outside of the elbow. They can also occur on the hip and hock.

Will the vet, allow the lion to get surgery to have the growth removed? The cubs, look a bit malnourished but overall in good health and spirits! Thanks, for the video!

I don't know about that but it's quite likely they will mate with them if they had the chance . Incest is a common problem in lion society. This is the reason they get kicked out in the first place.

Poor lion cubs get a shit sandwich, so many just don't make it mankind wants everything all the water, air and earth we don't even want share among our selves.
I'm curious. How are the cubs able to distinguish their mother from their aunts?
