It's also happened to my cat . Bcz of his injuries his mom didn't feed him. But I forced her mom to feed him. After that his mother left my house with her 4 kittens and left my cat. Since that day i pet him and named him " laddu" and cured him... he is my best buddy and my loveliest brother.... i love him a lot

This little one is the inspiration I needed today. Truly.

This little cub is so inspiring....it is just astounding how such a helpless little creature can survives against all odds!

For those that don’t know; this lion grew to have his own pride, and also was accepted again by the pride after a close call crossing the river with crocodiles. His show of character made his mom accept him. This is a snippet of the journey!

Lions are not endangered. At all. Yes it’s very sad, but that’s nature. It’s instinct. Where they live is an unforgiving environment and they conserve as much energy as they can just to survive. Wasting energy on a sickly injured cub could endanger the entire pride. :(

Carnivorous animals are very practical and pragmatic, even in a brutal way. "If I feed him and he dies that's a waste of milk!", so thinks the mom. In that case the park management should adopt him.

You don't even need to be old and useless. Some parents "reject" their children because they think that their children "don't grow up like normal kids". I know my father did. i agree. The cameraman is literally "Nature" itself. He or she cannot be interfering with Nature taking the cub when he or she is Nature. i find these cameramen and camerawomen just film. Some even set up fake rescues to get subs and money from KZread. They would film our own death too. They document and don't seem to have a red line where they need to put the camera down and do something, like be the hero once in a while.

In ancient times it wasn’t too uncommon for even disabled and impaired people to live relatively long healthy lives in their communities. It wasn’t until much later when human civilization became agricultural and we started to depend less on individuals to group survival that we really started becoming cruel to each other in every aspect. Band level societies rarely fought and even more rarely engaged in mortal wars or even imprisoned or enslaved others. Wars simply didn’t really exist. Mainly because people lived in groups of up to 30 and the death of any given individual meant the death of most if not everyone in some cases. So everyone had to be at least a little good at everything. And everyone depended on one another. There was a clear incentive to keep everyone alive. But when agriculture came around. Is when humans really didn’t have an incentive to be kind to one another anymore. It simply wasn’t viable for long term survival of genes anymore. It was way better to plunder, enslave and pillage and gain years worth of work in seconds rather than having to grow it yourself as risk something like that.

We have an abundance of resources, so we're not forced to make a decision between providing for viable or frail offspring. I'm not sure how prevalent it was, in ancient Rome newborns which were determined to be too weak could be abandoned at the discretion of the father. They weren't killed outright; some died from exposure or animals, others were found and adopted.

Somewhere his struggle to makes me remember of a great character of strength and perseverance from Hindu epic Mahabharata. 'Karn' abandoned my mother even though scenario was different, but that abandoned child grow up to be a king and famous archer. Kunti abondoned him for this stupid society which was sinful....as a punishment she was never given chance to cradle her first baby karn...for which her heart cried for years.....at last he died in front of her own eyes...giving her the most horrible pain any mother can bear and she lost the wish to live her life....

In the past though, we were effectively the same as any other animal and had the same struggles for survival. It’s actually kind of crazy to think about that.

This story made me cry a lot. my soul and my heart were torn apart. I was so hurt and sad that I found it hard to bear watching this video. this poor lion cub had nothing to do with it. it's not just what he suffered from his own mother . I love you baby angel lion cub , God bless you .

This is so heartbreaking 😢

It’s amazing, the decisions that animal parents make in the wilderness are decisions most people couldn’t even imagine doing to their children or families. The natural world can be a cruel and ruthless place, but at the end of the day, the mother did what she had to to ensure the survival of her cubs. I still love these animals and I don’t think that this is a good reason to dislike them. However that still doesn’t make it any less sad for the one that was left behind. (Also, Spoilers, I think it’s worth mentioning the cub makes it to adulthood, so that’s a major highlight👍🏾)

I just wanna scold the cameraman for not rescuing him already 😭

Open cruelty of their own , such unfortunate ones need to be rescued by wildlife conservation to release them maybe in future or taken to the zoo , as a second chance ..it's miserable to see others well fed and cared for .while this misfit is completely ignored , hated.

Appearently, they are not allowed to intervene, but I have seen and heard of camera crews that go on helping when they are done shooting. It makes me furious. Let "nature" have its course. No, you help out as much as you can and Then you can wait and see if the animal will pull through or not. You would not let a human baby just lay in the dirt and let "nature2 have its course now would you? Why is an animal baby different?

My outside cats did the same to one of their babys, because he was to aggressive when feeding and trying to not let his siblings drink milk too 🤣 then no one wanted him around.😌😃

Sharks are even more cruel. Sometimes, a mother shark will kill one or two her own babies (which are called pups, oddly) if they start fighting for food...

I don't know why, but I am crying like a baby. I feel so sorry for that poor little like if I was there I would have adopted it instantly!

Because an injured member of the pride, will only slow them down. Also, they cannot help their pride catch food and that makes them useless. And, they are not good candidates to carry on the species by reproducing. Only the strongest of the species shall survive.

That breaks my heart, oh I feel for this little bugger. Hope he ends up ok...

That is one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen I had heard that is what happens but it’s awful to watch the poor thing kept trying and she pushed it away I felt so bad for it shame a vet couldn’t have helped I just want to cry I hate seeing anything suffer

So sad, heart breaking to see him battle along.

I already watch the whole video few times & still everytime I rewatch it I couldn't help to cry, its si heartbreaking 😭😭

He has spirit and that's all a male lion needs to continue following the lionesses and food will be provided

He was hurt but he keep pushing forward he loves his family and he will not give up he was trying to walk and he was but his mother is making it hard for him RIP little lion 😔

It's not compassion. Animals are compassionate. The difference is our goals in life. Animals are here to survive and populate their species to serve mankind Mankind is here to tend to God's creations and to serve God. We have two completely different purposes in this world.

This club is amazing he took blue beat up by the teenage lions denied food from the mother and Aunt she also push him around and he still managed to track them down and they were nowhere in sight he is a true warrior parts of the story made you want to cry but every time she made it it made you jump up and yeah hooray for him I showed this to my grandchildren that's the moral to the story

This is the sort of Pride we actually should be supporting.

I wish I could feed this baby cub with my own ❤️❤️ hands by a feeder, that is so truely heart wrenching..

I am in tears 😥.An outdoor cat mom rejected her kitty 😥become starve and no idea.it doesn't even can eat anything thing other than milk.it become weak day by day.I took it inside my home and provide milk and medicine.i call her Fighty 😍.Now smarter than other cats❤️

IKR! The beginning story was absolutely heartbreaking, but, he overcame. I found the updated segment where mom finally took him in and he became a strong, leader of his own pride. There are several segments. A great ending. I loved his story, a true warrior!

Tbh that wprld is a lot more ruthless. She doesnt wanna take the chance of allowing her healthy cubs to be hurt while tryna protect one who makes them all vulnerable. It seems cruel but it makes sense

Good news this Misfit lion survives and beats odds of getting into the Adolescent age. Look at the recommended videos after this about him/her.

It's really heartbreaking to see it's condition....it deserves more attention...in human world it would have been given more attention
