CSX Seaboard System Finale Locomotive Tour 1989 - Part 4

This video documents CSX Transportation locomotives sighted at various CSXT yards in December of 1989. What makes this video so unique is the vast quantity of Seaboard System Railroad locomotives we were able to catch on our year end system-wide locomotive trip. There are also countless early-stage CSX locomotives on this video that you simply cannot see anyplace else. This is what the railroad looked like at the end of the 1980's. You will see locomotives on location at Rice Yard in Waycross, Georgia, Savannah, Georgia, Florence South Carolina and Hamlet, North Carolina. We bring you 'classic' CSX featuring plenty of predecessor road paint schemes up to and including the newest C40-8 and SD60 locomotives. If you like watching the early stages of CSX, then this video is for you.

I've seen these old iron horses when I was a kid. Many of them shortly after they were painted in the CSX YN2 scheme! It's crazy that the GP-40s and the SD40-2s are still running today!
