In my opinion the "funding for a team" was a big excuse, they would have made the site either way. All those clowns saw the success and money of skin gambling sites and launched their own despite not being involved with the cs:go community whatsoever (faze, syndicate, tmartn), wish they just stayed away and didn't try to cash in. Hard to take skin gambling sites seriously after what they did.

the 7 day trade ban was a really short term loss, nowadays csgo is bigger and skin/case prices are higher than they were ever before but yeah untradable skins would impact csgo massively

I can't believe CSGO Wild was first started before the late mesozoic period. That site is super old

imo I think a cheaper method to controlling the gambling scene from Valve's end would be to gain as much info on the owners of the sites. By the time they fuck up their customers, Valve will be able to crack down on them like undercover feds. That way they won't need to ban trading skins, which should be better in the long run

How dumb does someone actually have to be to believe that the house doesn't win? Don't put money in such gambling sites. Wtf it's not that hard to stay away from

It took 4 years, but finally someones making a video about this. I see all these news channels reporting Banks quote, but act like they didn't know FaZe Rain didn't promote the fuck out of this four years ago. I was so pissed that FaZe and Josh OG (Weeds TV) skirted by after H3H3 made their video (FaZe Rain wasn't mentioned).

It’s crazy how tmartn pretty much took the whole hit for csgo gambling yet so many other shady youtubers were doing the same thing
