Crunchy Nigerian Buns - No EGGS!
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
3/4 to 1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
21/4 to 21/2 cups water or milk
Oil for deep frying
Optional: 1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg

Maashaallah your recipes have never failed me and this is one I make often, days of fasting, and all the holidays. This time I tried it with the cayenne, though I reduced it to 1/2 tsp. and it's really delicious. I imagine next time I'll try a full tsp. Also, I use a small cookie scoop for these type of recipes and it's super fast. Bless you 🤲🏼

It appeared you used olive oil. I’m not a fan so I would use an oil that is lighter tasting. Those look very good.

Rhoda puffpuff is different... it requires yeast and it has to rise

Yes you can but you will need to reduce the water a little bit.
