This stew kind of looks like the one my grandma made for us growing up and we ate it with okro soup plain one not the one cooked with oil

I would recommend you do the dry mixture better on the chicken what i mean is that you use youre hands and really squeeze that on the chicken. But for the rest great video

I made this in the kitchen aid with paddle. First just to combine. Let rest the 5 mins then paddle hard for two min nutes on high . Leave in mixer with towel over in warm place couple to 15 mins then form. By the time you rise and bake it should be about an hour.

I've seen several comments like this since I posted the video. I was surprised to learn that Ghana also has this recipe. It just goes to show how closely connected we are. It seems our only challenge is a bit of sibling rivalry. 😍😍😍

I see in ongredients list you have 2 eggs .. but in video it doesn't say if you mixed the two into the dough .. after many views and attempts i see the two eggs was only one egg for dough and the other for egg wash. Thanks **update** So the extra egg in the dough didnt make any difference in texture, perhaps my eggs were medium sized. When i rollled it out, i added just alittle more flour to the the surface, kneaded, then rest, it still came out perfect. Thanks a bunch for not deleting this recipe!!😊
