Cruising and chasing an RV

Did a little light acro to check a high oil temp issue. On the second flight after working on the Pitts, a beautiful red and white RV6 left the field and I couldn't resist chasing him down and joining on his left wing.

Awesome! I have 3 RC Pitts Models, they are awesome little RC Airplanes. I love the fact yours is Green, Black and White! All the others ones I have seen at the Air Shows are Red.

I planned on the classic red but the moment I saw the Sport Green paint swatch, I envisioned this paint job and just had to do it.

@luftwicker07 how was the build process ? Were the plans easy to read? I have a sonex. But my dream has always been to perform airshows in a pitts

@@Sonex825 I'm not too sure if I'd do a 100% scratch built again. It took 10 years and over 2200 construction hours. I didn't have anything to fly while I was building, so scratch building now wouldn't be so bad. It just seemed to take forever. I don't regret it but I wish I would have bought wings and larger components to alleviate some of the work load and time. That green on the Sonex looks good. 😁
