wen i fish for carp, i put corn in the little dissolvable bag, i that as good as ground bait?

I have always wondered how you thread the hooklength through the pva bag of groundbait. Surely you cant tie a hook on after threading the line for every rebait and cast.

9 years late lol, but we use a tiny hook about 6 inchs long to hook the line and pull it through
