Great vid and great alrounder angler. Is this method good at night as I've heard you can catch like this at night and don't have to fish close in. I fish for them in usual way but there isn't a lot in my park lake, reason proberly why they are big when you catch one. Smallest I've had from there is 1.4lb my pb is 3.8lb and quite a few 2s and lower 3s baliff has had a 4.3lber. Also love the rods 1lb tc will be ideal has my eyesight can't take watching a float to long nowadays , so glad I came across this vid. Thanks barry

Sorry, bolt rigs on Crucians or any Carp is entrapment, all that gear for a fish that tops out at 4lb is overkill.

+space barbus have to agree. i love watching the top of the float bob. much nicer way to fish for em and more skillful. his method is producing and it is a big lake but its not for me either.
