i'm 50 and still loving this classic...

It fills me up with immense joy to know that I was lucky enough to be a part of this incredible concert. 27 November 2016 is a night I will never forget for the rest of my life.

Here's the thing about Crowded House: you can take thousands of people (or tens of thousands), put them in the seats, and every single one of them knows every single word to every single song. They elicited such dedication from their fans and rewarded them with the most beautiful music.

Stuck at home working due to COVID-19. Nothing soothes me like any good Crowded House songs :)

Not sure what you mean but the whole 2 1/2 hour concert can be streamed for at least a few more months via Australia's ABC iView: "Crowded House Live At Sydney Opera House - An unforgettable event from the steps of Sydney Opera House. In 2016 Crowded House returned to play a cavalcade of their hits and favourites 20 years after their landmark last concert."

Ohhh, the tears just watching this video and the audience's response. I love this song so much, but I could barely sing along, my throat was tight with emotion.

Folks this is what is so nice about Australia….we are quite fond of each other…

This song, this video, and the crowd singing along make it nearly impossible for a tear to not well up. The kind of tear that you try to fight back when you are so happy and something is so beautiful that you just can’t help it. Neil Finn surely has to be one of the most underrated musicians ever.

@@michaeltw1000 You must not have been paying attention, or you're too young. These guys were all over US radio for several years, several hits still are. Neil Finn is a national treasure to the Aussies. Remember, you can be world famous without being an American rock star.

Just really discovered Neil and the band. Wow! At the beginning when he starts singing with no music and the drummer has his head bowed and starts singing along priceless. The way he is one with the crowd unbelievable

Neil dedicated this song to the original drummer, Paul Hester, at the Aria awards in 2005 after Paul committed suicide. 😢

Listened to Crowded House in 1985 when I went to SA. The song was all over the place, I think it was called "Don't dream it's over". Still listening, makes me happy and sometimes cry. Thank you Neil Finn!!

They are on tour now in North America. They opened last night in Vancouver Canada, and I was there to see them. Memories from my youth. Try to see them while they are on this side of the Pacific, there were a few too many empty seats.

I just watched a few hours of Split Enz and Finn brothers videos to reminisce the great music....then this!! It was the best of all. Just so sweet and happy! And in my hometown and I wasn't there 😊 Even though I was at the Opera House countless times in the 70s.

I've seen the crowdies twice, including at the Farewell concern on the steps of the Sydney Opera House. Both concerts were two hour long singalongs

A beautiful song, performed with great affection and warmth. Sang beautifully by the audience.

wow tingles up my spine from hearing the crowd singing this song with Neil and Crowded House! so good! i first heard this song 18 years ago on the last night of holidays up in the Whitsundays and got homesick but this song hit a soft spot so thankyou Crowded House!
