RAVIN has always led the crossbow competition with their HELICOL system. I think the best improvement on the R 26 was the fact that the scope mounts are solidly secured upfront, just like the more expensive R 29 instead of being cantilevered like on the R 10. And in terms of price points with an MSRP of $1999 and some BIG BOX stores now offering $500 off, this is the best crossbow for the money!

The crossbow is very nice, but one thing I don't like is the scope , 20 yards piont cross should be in the center of the cross , not inside the very top .

That hog is not only farm raised but very use to humans. If you watch the review again at the time right before the hog is shot, you can see their hand or whatever 🤔in the corner of the screen before and during the shot. He is less than 15ft away when he shot that pig. They didn’t do a good job of editing that part out!🤨

Your loominated bolts have problems trying to turn off the light, after shooting even with pliers PLEASE GET THIS resolved asap. Went through 4 boxes, all the same problem Other than that the product is very good 👍 and deadly. It would be great if the problem would be resolved before hunting season

So why is it that my Excalibur Bulldog 440 shoots faster than the Ravin at a fraction of the price? Also, what are toy going to do with a stringing/cable issues? With all Excalibur’s they come with a Lifetime Warranty and my Bulldog has a silent crank called the Charger Ext. needless to say should the string snap or gets cut then you would have to go to a pro shop which means you’re out of commission for days if not weeks. Excalibur might not be as easy to clock then the compound bows but it’s the best bow out there.

Bryan Yu i own a micro 355 and even then you have to admit the wing span of the limbs is ridiculous so I know your bulldog is even wider. The raven uncocked is barely wider than my ar-15

Diego Deluna if you have an Excalibur you know you have to develop a taste for the bow because yes it’s wide but I don’t care because there’s no other bow where you can change your strings on the fly. If you break your strings and need strings and cables repaired then what you going to do? Pro shops are backed up during the next few months. Your whole season could be ruined. I happen to like the way my BD looks and I don’t mind it being recurve. There’s more good things to say about Excalibur than the Ravin. I’m not saying that the bow is a poc but compare it to what my bow costs and it shoots faster than the Ravin do why would I want that? So far the only thing I couldn’t do myself is to figure out why my right limbs splintered. I didn’t “dry fire” the bow and with the ADF feature built into this bow I don’t understand where it is coming from. I ordered a spare set of limbs and I hope I get the limbs replaced under warranty. I’m just not going to take my chances. 300lbs of weight stored in the bow will cause severe injury so in going to ask Excalibur what they suggest that I do.

El Lobo what kind of bow do you have? I’m thinking of getting the Axe 340 as my backup bow. I’ve only been shooting targets right now bc I stopped hunting a while and I let my hunting license expire so I have to start fresh and go to hunting courses again and take the field class and test. SMH

@@iHustleLXXXI the Ravins have the option of their own bow press. I purchased one. I can change my strings when ever I like. I can put my bow in an average sized back back. The R26 is a bow with with more than enough speed that's tiny. That its appeal. It's not for everyone but then what is?

Can’t believe they didn’t design that crank handle to be held magnetically in a conformal slot so you don’t drop it, lose it, or have to sit on it in your pocket…! Also, if your going to do a lot of this kind of video, you need to invest in a high speed camera of higher resolution, but mostly capturing at a much, much higher frame rate. That hog shot is basically useless, and it comes off as extremely amateurish. That’s just a couple of observations… I want you to succeed

Yes. He misspoke. Grains are commonly used in the firearm industry. 7000 grains per pound. You know like 62 gr. (grain) bullet. So in a archery video the narrator most likely utilizes firearms as well so a slip up.

We'll. Actually crossbows use bolts. Which is just named that so you don't put an arrow in a crossbow since arrows (this was a problem years ago not sure if still true) will break and potentially send fragments in multiple directions.
