🔥 Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on KZread yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyrobin.com/crochet...

I went through stage 4 cancer treatment 2 years ago. I've decided to crochet an Afghan for all 8 of my family members. Something I'd like to give them to remember me by if my cancer comes back. I'm using this pattern for the one for my sister. Thank you. Update: started this with red heart boutique in meadow and it is coming out beautifully. It's very simple, but I can never remember how to end or begin the rows, so I refer back to the time stamp links in the description box. Thank you very much for including that.

For real Crochet videos are the biggest "unintentional" ASMR thing for me. I'll see a video on a cool stitch and before I can get to the end I'm dozing sometimes

Glad I'm not the only one who has a dozen projects on the go. I am trying to not purchase more yarn til I finish something in the hope that it will motivate me to finish, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit I already own more yarn than I can use in this lifetime. I blame you for my Boho Spirit addiction!!

Robin, I mean this in a nicest possible way when I say..." you are making me crazy with all of these wonderful pattern ideas." Ha ha. I truly can relate to your going gung-ho with a project and then getting bored with it. Seems many of us have that problem. I would like to say that your video teaching style is very helpful and your camera work and showing where things/stitches go is darn near perfect. Your enunciation is wonderful. I say that with the utmost sincerity, because I have been a medical transcriptionist for 20 years, and I know only too well how hard it is to listen to someone who isn't clear and concise in their speaking. Much obliged. Keep up the great work. Crochet on!

Love it, thank you so much! I have some Landscapes, Scarfie, Unforgettable waves , etc. that I have been wanting to try with a shell type stitch. I guess scarf and hat sets are in order. Ohhh, a hat pattern with this stitch would be fantastic! I would love to see you do that . I too suffer from startitis, I feel your pain.

during nov-jan i had about 5 projects going at once. i just wanted to do a lot for all the little kiddos that live near me and don't know how to say no when it comes to them XD. i am trying a whole bunch of stitches as well for scarves/shawls to hopefully sell soon, so a wide variety can be chosen.
