How can I make this for 9-12 months?

do you possibly have a pattern for adult bonnet??

if I’m using a weight 3 yarn, how different would this come out? Should I use a specific hook size so that it comes out similar?

You can decrease a hook size from 6 to 3 it can be smaller than this

Ну намудрила в начале. Просто перекинь нить через указательный палец, Сунь под него крючок от себя и захвати нить. Всё, первая петля готова
