Please use caution with the bonnet if you are using it for something other than a photo shoot. The ties are too long for daily use. Make them shorter as long ties can be a strangle risk for the baby. Thank you.

What a lovely little bonnet! Baby Kate looked so darn adorable with it on!🥰❤️ I’m making one for sure!🤗
I always pick up something new when I watch your videos. I really like that delicate slip stitch ribbing. The simplest stitches used in unique ways make for an interesting look.

Oh wow! Congratulations!! That is so exciting you are going to have so much fun, It is the very best. I'm so happy for you and your daughter.
Thank you!! Lovely you, pattern and result!
Baby Kate is very lovely, Congratulations to your family. Tiffany I have watched several of the videos and I seem to love each one more than the previous one. You are very talented. I have crocheted for 50 + years and I use it as my "sanity builder" I have tried to design but to no avail BUT I copy real well. Thanks. Hugs and kisses to Kate.
I love this pattern! Can’t wait for my next granddaughter…whenever that may be…but will be making these for many gift!❤

Adorable!
While I also run a KZread channel that provides crochet tutorials, I have to admit that you are the best at producing baby crochet tutorial videos. Your videos have helped me learn a lot and I hope you continue to excel at what you do.
Kate looks adorable in her baby shoot.

J’ai adoré le réaliser ❤️
Fabuloso tutorial, aprendiendo nuevos puntos. Muchas gracias
Thank you kindly!
How lovely. I’m making one for my 3 month old grandson in dk first to practice. I have some cashmere/merino on way for the finished items.
Went looking for an easy bonnet to make for my son to wear on Christmas and i found this tutorial. Now im a beginner and this was easy to follow and replicate, im almost finished just have to add on that second tassel and im done! It worked up super fast ehich was great because between starting it on the 21st, having to rip out all my work when i was halfway because i realized it wasn't big enough and having to add on to it, and wrangling a crawling almost 6 month old (yes already crawling! My husband and I are shocked too!) I don't have a ton of free time so a quick easy project like this is a must!
Most beautiful 👍👍👍👍
Tiffany, your patterns are beautiful and your stitches are impeccable!! Thanks for the time that you take to share your patterns with everyone 😊so that we can make it too! ❤❤❤
This is gorgeous!!! I'm about to make a few for my baby girl due 2/12💕 and a couple for my 1 year old son! 😅
Absolutely love this pattern! ❤️ And Kate is a beautiful model 🤩 I’m almost done with my second bonnet. I whipstitched the back to close it (my personal preference) and I added a little Pom Pom. Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial. Can’t wait to see what else you create for Kate 😊👏🏼👏🏼

My hat has shrunk to ten inches. Help! What am I doing wrong?

@@sandygritzner3028 Full disclosure: I’m no expert but did you check you had the same number of stitches on every row? I’ve found myself “losing” stitches as I progress on a project. Sometimes the first stitch is hard to see and I find a stitch marker helps. Also, did you notice your tension change? That has also happened to me making my project smaller towards the end. Last but not least, did you do a swatch beforehand? Sometimes you have to go one size (or even two) up with the recommended hook. Hope this helps 😉
I just made one came out beautiful
What a sweet hat. I have to make this even though it's 2am lol
I hv started making the same 😍👌💙
Mulțumesc mult
The acrylic helps it to dry more quickly also
This is so cute. I am crocheting for charity and will definitly make some of these ❤
Great pattern and I am grateful for the nicely formatted printable one on your web site. There may be a minor error in the written instructions for HDSLST or HDSS. I believe you YO then pull through two loops, not three as stated in the pattern. Hope this help those not familiar the stitch, the video is correct.
Whipped this up on a whim. We don’t know if it’s a girl, but this is too cute! The perfect less is more project!

It is definitely a gender neutral pattern. I made them for my son in the earthy nude colours, grey and cream/off white. You can still definitely tell he is a boy haha
Beautiful thanks for sharing your tutorials. How many inches for a 6-9 month old baby
Hi! This bonnet is so adorable! I'd like to make it for a 3 month old baby. You mention that there is a way to make it bigger, and I've tried and tried to find out how, but I don't see that reference anywhere. Could you help me out, I need to make it asap!! Thank you!
This would look good with split single crochets.
Just finished my first successful bonnet, and my top tip is, when she says go loose, GO LOOSE. Especially on the ribbing. If you don’t, you’re gonna get frustrated quick. Go looser than you think you have to. Also, my first attempt I used the #3 yarn like she recommended & did 11 inches of ribbing, but this ended up shrinking when I started adding the rows/body of the hat. First one came out way too small. Second attempt I used #4 yarn, 5.5 hook, and did about a foot of ribbing without stretching it at all to that number. Ended up coming out perfectly this time around and worked up quickly🙏🏼

Thank you so much for sharing your experience trying the 3 weight yarn that it was to small, and for sharing how you used the #4 worsted weight yarn and 5.5mm hook and did 12 inches for the ribbing instead. I’m going to try that today 💗🧶💗
My size 4.0mm crochet hook must be smaller that yours. I needed more rows for 11.5 inches. I used a Clover Amour hook.
Did you chain 1 at the beginning of each of the backloop frontloop sc row.? I dont think you said and i really couldn't tell by watching. Love ghis desihn.

I love using premier cotton sprout for my baby blankets and hats. My customers absolutely love it. But I’m always on the hunt for something comparable to its appearance and texture. Would you say that Bernat softer cotton is similar? Thanks in advance.
I just saved it to make these - my crochet group donates caps etc to the local maternity ward. Question re safety though - Do y’all think the under chin ties could be considered dangerous for a newborns ? Makes me feel a bit apprehensive.
For me I have a hard time with the slip stitches so I’m doing a single crochet in the back loop for the ribbing.

@@anl1235 slip stitch back loops result is looks a like knitting 😊
How do I make the top not so pointed?
Has anyone tried to make this in either a 6-12 month or 12-18 month size? If so how many rows of the ribbing or what measurement in length for the ribbing? And how many rows do you add for the height of the bonnet, or what measurement in height? I don’t have the measurement of the babies head who I’m making it for and it’s a surprise so I can’t ask mom. Thank you!
do you have the pattern linked
if I wanted to make this for a doll, do you have a suggestion on how to measure?
