Pull the washer off the back of the safety eye with some pliers. Works for me every time. ❤ Nikki

Your blanket is gorgeous!!!! I love it, such great colors and stitches, wow!!!! And the lovey is so cute and the crocheted baby. I'm not good with Amigurumi at all so I have no idea, except could you add even more stuffiing than usual to make the head and face more rounded? And I'd just glue the eyes since it's for your husband and not a child. You're inspiring me, I want to do so many of these projects that you're showing. Hi Victoria! Did you get my last email? Just wondering. The doll is adorable! Oh wow that blanket is scrumptious! Ok yes you CAN remove the backs on amigurumi eyes to reuse the eyes but the backs will be destroyed. You can get wire cutters or thick toenail clippers and cut the backs off. Washers will work yes, just size them appropriately. Hope that helps! Hugs!
