to anyone wanting to make the bag smaller or larger: make the starting chain a multiple of 5+1 for the turning chain, and make the base larger or smaller by adding 5 rows per one square. to match the tutorial, add 10 rows for 2 more squares on the side. :)

when doing row 12, are the tails being floated on the incorrect side? i’m still working out which is right and wrong side and i thought when the tail is on my bottom right it’s the wrong side

You can. Just continue to single crochet across each row and ignore the steps to change colour

i’m using 4 with a 4.5mm hook and it’s a liiiitle bigger, but this is a “chunkier” 4 out of the others i own
