When designing logos, it's important to know what you can do and can't do. The main rule of logo design is simplicity and consistency. When you have both these, your logo will most likely work well.

I'm glad that my concept was on this video. (VAULT) The presentation was just random things that I've got in my folders and I've published them on reddit. I've never thought they will be published on video.

I was disappointed that he didn’t point out that the cleavers look like a tux collar. Did he assume we all notice or did he miss it?
I'm studying animation and not really liking it, so I've picked up graphics on the side while I finish my degree since it's too late to turn around. This is very helpful information, thank you.

Yea same here. I went in for computer animation (2D like anime and cartoons was my main priority), but it turned out to be more of special fx and CGI(3D modeling). Didn't like it, so I'm using my Graphic Design skills to run my clothing brand.
A video idea I'd love to see is you creating a portfolio as a logo/graphic designer. Your videos are a huge inspiration!
This was TOO Cute , I felt with the Spooky one the designer could of made the ghost more iconic and used Shape building to create it , but it was super cute in general !

As a screen printer, can I remind designers that left chest logos go 3-5 fingers below the collar. I see this all the time and it pains me on the inside.

The 1st logo can be simplified by using the 3rd tool @0:46. Just add a line to make it look like an F, but do not connect it. I know it's hard to visualize it, but I hope someone gets what I'm trying to say. Lol

The pillar one - looks untrustworthy because it has an unfinished look and the base is not complete. Gives an impression that the foundations won't be solid.
