will maybe you aren't the most technical logo designer or most crafted designer in my subscriptions list that i watch their content but that amount of honesty you have,makes you special and more friendly for me and i love it. the braveness you have to show your work from 0-100 and you dont fear of showing you processe even the bad ones , bad concept or sketches is wonderful. keep making content i love u😍

Another Great video man! Just curious, what's your technical process from procreate to illustrator? For example: do you export your sketches as a JPEG from procreate and airdrop it your desktop/laptop and pen tool over the jpeg in illustrater?

Personaly i think, that the QT idea turned out pretty well. The "O" is just a little bit to bold for me compared to the "T". Don't know why you did it, but it looks wrong in my eyes.

We normally like to give ourselves 4-6 weeks but sometimes it can take less sometimes a little longer, depends on each project really and what is being done :)

Always like your videos! Can you do one on KIA motors new logo. I have issues with it, being a bit busy and confusing and trying to hit all these checkmarks they had listed. Modern, has to say Kia, symmetry, rhythm, pattern, abstract. Come on Will. Please do it!

Awesome work, Will! Thanks for sharing. With the QT one you mention something along the lines of "showing the client what works and what doesn't work". Do you mean that you actually show the serif fonts and options that don't fit? If so, isn't that risky? What if they fall for something that was a terrible idea? I'm sure you've got the skills to explain and convince them to go with what you have in mind, but still... Thanks again for sharing, I'm wishing you all the best for 2021!

Yes, he will usually show the ones that didn’t make the cut during a meeting and explains exactly why they wouldn’t work for the brand - if you explain well why they would be a poor choice it’s not likely they would fall in love with it! But there is an element of risk I suppose! You know your client best and if you think they might be likely to do that you could always skip doing that! :)

I just had a nightmare client who asked me to work on a project for a corporate firm for them. I did it with little to no brief other than “modern” which made little sense in their industry. I completed the project and two weeks later they came back to me with someone else’s work, that was absolutely awful, and ASKING WHICH I THOUGHT was the best. They were badly copied versions of mine that didn’t at all match the industry they were in. I give up 😭😭😭

Great video, always enjoy to see the BTS of a logo/brand development. You mentioned an Appsumo software for uploading client logos for them to download from - what was the name for this? I couldn't find it from a search and couldn't see a name on the screen shot of the product in your video. Thanks. Keep it up.

You QT system is remarkably similar to a Brazilian telecom's system, named Oi... even the to letters are very similar, not the type, but the letters. Q-O, T-I It might have been by accident or one of those instances where you don't even remember seeing it before... dunno. Try searching on google images for: Oi logo
