Okay, but you definitely need to try map art in Minecraft. People have recreated renaissance paintings doing that. It is pixel art of a crazy variety and can absolutely be used for graphic design if you're creative enough. It would be cool to see a graphic designer react to people's map art creations too, if you ever wanted to do that!

Krita is actually an incredibly useful tool (mostly for 2D artists, but can be great for all of your other graphic design and photo editing needs) and i recommend it to anyone who doesn't have money or is on a budget :)

Yeap, can confirm. I use it primarily as an artist, but it has most stuff you need for design. Especially ability to import any font you have downloaded. Only major downside is hotkeys most likely not Adobe compatible besides some basic ones (if I understand correctly). As free open source software is good for starting artists (even though there other free software for drawing)

Even with no footage, I believe Elliot is the first person to ever consider designing with his beard hair...

That was one of the best integrations of a sponsor segment I've ever seen, didn't even realize it was a sponsor segment until like halfway through

I used Google docs to make a full school newspaper and the graphic design was quite easy to do lmao. You can easily change the margins by dragging the bar at the far left of the page

The silence at Krita section almost makes me think that the author of the video dislikes or doesn't want to try Krita for some reason. Of course, it could just be a "Krita is an actual image editor so it's not included in the video about non-image-editors" or "i did a whoopise, sorry for that", but given the not-so-favorable reputation of GIMP (another open-source alternative to Photoshop) and the fact the author didn't enjoy working in it, I'm not exactly sure which is it. I can't say anything for graphic design capabilities of Krita, but I found it a good replacement for Photoshop in many of my image editing use cases (they're fairly simple), even though it's marketed as a painting app. The only issue I have with it is text editing, which is not very convenient. I'd like to know if there are any reasons why Krita might be a bad app for graphic design.

Designing a business card in the Premiere Pro sequence timeline is completely unhinged. I love it.

I work at ikea in kitchen sales and use the kitchen planner every day. and the part that hurt the most was that you didn’t even see that you CAN change the flooring and wall color. tragic.

I recently started playing a lot with The Sims 3, and the creative aspects of the series are awesome to me. It can be finicky(and it certainly takes up a lot of computer space) but overall I think it succeeded in implementing player creativity into life simulation.

How is no one going to call out the awesome motion graphics in this?? What the hell Elliot, you just get better and better!

The rage i got when you started to make your business card in the sims with furniture instead of terrain paint was actually insane, but then it actually turned out much coller and original than it would have would terrain paint, in my opinion at least. Awesome video as always ♥

I clicked on this video because I saw the IKEA logo in the video thumbnail, and I'm not disappointed. Elliot designing in Apple Notes led me to imagine him trying to design in Milanote, but partially because I would sometimes partially stack colour cards to see how well certain colours would stand out. I then remember that both that and Evernote have drawing cards. I also won't be surprised if he were to try designing in "Turf War (Recon)" mode in Splatoon 3, probably using one of the brush type weapons and/or by messing with a Squid Beakon, though there'd likely be a bit of a challenge as not all of the in-game weapons can be obtained at the start, requiring the player to level up, bur everything in online multiplayer seems to get unlocked at level 30.

Please make more in this series! It was such an entertaining video!
