You've lighted a passion in my home. My son became Type 1 Diabetic at age 3 and I couldn't get his blood sugar to stop spiking. I was taking a nutritional class to better understand my son. When I first saw you cook it was like God was giving me a sign; you could teach me how to save my son. I watched all your shows. We threw away all of our frozen food 3 years ago and starting building meals from your recipes. I incorporated everything I've learned from you into my kitchen breaking old habits. I'm not as amazing as you yet. Now my fridge has meat, vegetables and dairy only. No frozen dinners or hot pockets and fast food is old news. Once I started cooking homemade food for lunches and dinners his blood sugar started stabilizing. His average blood sugar is 181 and I just want to thank you from deep in my heart. I've also lost 87 pounds since due to just eating good food. You inspire me. God bless you and your family. P.S. Your attitude is justified and those who don't understand that are entirely ignorant.
