What the hell are you talking about! War wasn't the answer it is the reality foced on them by a madman. I'm sure all the ordinary men and women and boys fighting in the streets are just as angry and scared as a grown man cowering and crying in a bunker. At least they are brave enough to do something about it.

This is so sad . Feels like we are living in old times. I never thought I would see a war in my life time or at least any time soon. I am 26 with a 3 year old And i am Not even in Ukraine and I am Afraid for my sons future I cannot imagine what the people are feeling and dealing with who are actually exposed and experiencing it . Simply Amazing news ! How fortunate are we to have The Great Sean Penn doing a Documentary on Ukraine ? WOW ! I can hardly wait to see this guaranteed Masterpiece from this Brilliant & insightful "Truth Sherpa" of a man. But unfortunately this will have to wait. I just started watching Sean Penn's last Documentary titled "Hugo Chavez & The Great Venezuelan Socialist Revolution" which has been an Amazing story so far. I can hardly wait to see how everything turns out for the Venezuelan people in the end. Please ... nobody spoil it for me.

If your reading this, please take the time to learn a different language you have no idea how good it feels and beneficial it is when helping and speaking to a fellow human in their own native language, I myself speak 4 languages, and I'm impressed with that last reporter. 😊

Russia is big, but mostly empty land. Even when their economy was good, Russia has a smaller GDP than California

It's stuff like this that makes me stop and reflect on how safe we are in this country and just how good we really got it. We have our fair share of s*** stains in this country but I would not want to be anywhere else.

My feelings exactly. Penn doesn't care about the people- he cares about exploiting their dire circumstances for his own "art", his own industry 'clout'. He wants awards, pseudo-adrenaline, and praise. If he's going to film he should also be willing to fight, to help. And not in the form of a cheque, either. And regardless if he truly cared he would be doing this quietly and it wouldn't be publicized. He's a despicable excuse of a human. Go fight with the people or leave. If it were truly about filming, we wouldn't know about it. With Sean Penn, it's never about anyone other than himself.
