The war crimes come from specifically and purposely targeting civilians. War in and of itself should be a crime or at the very least an absolute last resort. War is disgusting and so is Putin. He needs tobbe stopped. Period.

But could be seen as "collateral damage" if it is proven that Russia did in fact try it´s best to only target military targets. Imagine Ukraine hitting a Russian tank and a nearby ukrainian civilian is killed. Everybody would mourn but understand that Ukraine was under the pressure of war and so on. As cynical as it seems, sometimes civilian casualties can be considered as collateral damage. Not saying this is the case here, though.

@@leoh3616 Yes absolutely, I completely accept and expect collateral damage in war. As you said your self, this isn't what this was. This was a hospital. My point was to call her out on the "could be" a war crime when it's obviously a war crime. This whole invasion is a war crime because everybody in Ukraine, except for what ever military they have, were civilians until they were forced to pick up arms in order to defend their country.

My Mom surprised me, she was flip about a maternity/children's hospital being attacked/destroyed/civilians being killed. I mentioned this to her yesterday in a restaurant, she shrugged and said people die during war. I hope I don't get that used to it that it doesn't affect me. Troops go to war knowing the possible outcome. Pregnant women and children - well, it may be an outcome of war/invasion but that doesn't mean I think it's right. Especially if it's most likely done on purpose.

@@kellharris2491 every political and international relations expert will tell you that means declaring war. So far, I’ve only heard pundits suggest it or say there should be a conversation about it. No one I’ve heard has been so bold and arrogant as to say “It HAS to happen.” I’m sure you know this, but for anyone who doesn’t this, calling for a no fly zone means the nation making that call promises to shoot down any unauthorized aircraft. That would mean if a Russian aircraft were to fly over Ukraine, the US would shoot it down. That would officially put the US Military at war with Russia, and Russia would be at liberty to attack US troops. America REALLY can’t be making that decision so flippantly.

While I truly appreciate your and Lindsay's sentiment, how exactly would an assassination attempt on Putin be carried out exactly? Parachuting American sharpshooters into Russian airspace? Any American plane even in the vicinity would be detected and shot down immediately by the Russians basically igniting a global world war. Or just indiscriminately bomb the heck out of the Kremlin hoping that Putin is there...basically igniting you guessed it...a global world War. Americans should be more careful on blaming others just because they see some videos on media. It could be fake news. Please remember what your country did to vietnamese, lybian, afghan or syrian peoples, which wasnt shown on news and the ones showed it are still in jail... Think yourself 🙏

Please don't take offense but lol, y'all act like the media don't constantly bash the USA, it's their favorite thing to do(as well as mine lol) and call them out on their BS. You know who is still in Syria helping Assahd kill his own people?? Russia. You know who invaded Afghanistan?? Russia. You know who supported destabilizing Libya and was heavily involved in Libya?? Russia. Now when Russia is finally being called out on their involvement in other countries (which I barely hear about) ya'll want to become human rights activists in the comment section and call USA out, no offense!. Where was this pushback when Yemen, and Syria (Godbless those people) were being attacked by Russia and Saudi Arabia?. I don't always support America and I think they should learn to mind their business and stop getting involved in matters that don't concern the American people (Which they improving on, but I think Ukraine does need our help and we should help them), but we gotta be fair here, Russia been hiding their corruptness for a while now.

What Israel is doing to the Palestinian is everything that Judaism is not and stands against as a religion.
