Taking care of your terminaly ill child must be heartbreaking. Being forced to run away from your country because of war incredibly traumatising. Those two situations combined…i can’t even imagine how they feel, Those mothers are the strongest and the bravest people on Earth. I wish they didn’t have to be though.

This was so heartbreaking to see, like, I can't even imagine having to carry her child for 3 days straight, probably very little rest, seeing so much traumatizing things and then finding out her village was bombarded without being able to get a hold of those she love? The mother of an 11-year-old Ukrainian boy who travelled 700 miles to Slovakia solo to flee the violence back at home has said she is grateful to Slovakian authorities for “saving my child’s life”. Yulia Pisetskaya, from the south-east of Ukraine, said she had told her son to flee without her as she needed to stay behind because she was unwell and had to care for her disabled mother, who lives right next to a nuclear power plant “that the Russians are shooting at”. The boy, who was named as Hassan by Slovakia’s interior ministry, got on a train with just a passport, a plastic bag and the telephone number of relatives in the Slovakian capital of Bratislava scribbled on his hand. The Slovakian Ministry of the Interior said on Facebook that on his arrival in the country he was helped by volunteers who gave him food and drink, before he was reunited with his relatives. Hearing the shaking in Anderson's voice is heartbreaking. He feels for these poor children and their mothers just like we all do. The pain she must feel. Not knowing if her family is dead or alive back home, knowing her child whom she loves dearly is terminal and won't have long but she made the sacrifice to made sure no matter how short her child's life would be, it would not be spent suffering. God help these people, they deserve peace.

2014: Russia invades Ukraine. Obama admin refuses to send any weapons. Media plays it down. 2022: Russia invades Ukraine. Same exact people who said in 2014 that this was a non-issue now say it’s the most vital issue facing USA. What changed? Russiagate. Why did Russia invade under Obama, then do nothing for 4yrs, then send troops to the Ukrainian border 57 days into the Biden admin? Why did the media and Democrats mock Romney in 2012 for suggesting that Russia would invade Ukraine then play it down as if said invasion was nothing despite them annexing territory? These are reasonable questions to be asked that should be pretty easy to answer if CNN is actually being objective on this. I’d say it’s an absolute certainty that they waited for a Democrat to take power to advance further into Ukraine. Under Trump, Russia needed to transport energy exports to Europe via mainland Ukraine. Therefore, a war isn’t a great idea when it threatens your top export. However, with a pipeline directly to Western Europe they’d no longe need to rely upon transporting through Ukraine and thus making war far more viable. So why did Biden lift sanctions on that pipeline? Democrats/media argue that it was more than 90% completed anyway. True. But it had been at that stage for the duration of the Trump admin so if he had just pursued the same policies as Trump the pipeline still wouldn’t be completed. It’d be great if CNN was capable of objective coverage. I don’t buy that they all of a sudden care about Ukraine because they cheered on as the Obama admin sent zero weapons in 2014. Surely, Anderson Cooper by now accepts that he’s nothing more than DNC propaganda. It’s just such a shame that today self-proclaimed “journalists” have absolutely no issue placing party above country. This war was avoidable. Even today peace is still possible. The problem is that for whatever the Democratic Party/media and many Republicans have no interest in peace. By definition, these women and children fleeing are the result of policies foisted onto the world by an undeniably corrupt media, especially CNN

In 2014 when Ukraine was invaded by Russia, Anderson didn’t give a damn. Obama admin refused to arm the Ukrainians. The moment that Biden took office Russia immediately sent troops to the Ukrainian border to finish what they started in 2014. This war was avoidable. All the tears and bloodshed never needed to happen. Now we’re supposed to believe that those largely responsible for this war happening all of a sudden give a damn when just a few years ago they said that the initial invasion of Ukraine was “nothing”. Give me a break. These people are the biggest frauds on the planet. I promise you, if tomorrow Trump came out and suggested we pursue the EXACT SAME policies that we’re already pursuing in Ukraine not another dime would be sent. That’s just reality. This is an entirely political exercise by the media and Democrats as a result of Russiagate. There’s NO other explanation for why the same people would take completely opposite positions on the same issue. If they cared about innocent people being slaughtered you’d hear about Yemen from time to time. Unfortunately for the Yemeni people there is no partisan advantage to caring about their plight. So we don’t hear about it ever and continue with this absurd charade that Russia is an existential threat when everyone with even a little knowledge of the world knows with absolute certainty that China is the most powerful enemy America has ever faced and they’re doggedly working on our destruction every single day. This is the same China that knowingly and deliberately lied to the world in order to allow covid to spread thereby killing millions of people and destroying every economy on the planet except their own. Does the Biden admin care about that? Of course, not. If they did he wouldn’t be handing them the keys to our fucking power grid. This insanity needs to stop if we want our children to have an even decent future. People need to wake up and come to grips with the fact that at least 70% of what is said on CNN is either an outright lie or deliberately deceptive. Again, if they cared about the Ukrainians they would’ve also cared in 2012 when fewer partisan points were there to be scored. It’s all so depressing. Americans today are living in a reality that doesn’t exist and unless they wake up they’ll live the rest of their lives knowing they proactively robbed their own children’s futures.

Hospice children being transported is utterly heartbreaking, may they reach safety quickly. 💕🌿🌱🌷

Poland adapted this train to transport wounded heavy soldiers to Polish hospitals, but there was no such need, so the sick children were taken first.

I cannot begin to fathom as a mother carrying my daughter for 3 days like that. Fleeing from your own home and to know the city of your family's was bombed and then not be able to get a hold of them, but hear beeps when calling. Oh my God. My hearts hurts for these mothers, children, and loved ones. I'm mourning with them and praying for them. 🇺🇦

This is so heartbreaking. What courage these dear people have as they flee their homeland. Many prayers in their behalf.

I am in awe of these women’s strength and courage. Mother’s are really truly amazing.

Of all the things I’ve seen coming out of Ukraine, this may be the most heart-wrenching thing of all. And thanks to the Polish people, the most beautiful too. Truly this is beyond what anyone should be asked to suffer. Love and peace to Ukraine ❤️

We've got work to do and it is a country and people worth fighting for. I can't do anything for the Palestinians. I wouldn't be welcome there and there are plenty of aid organisations helping them. This is about Russia and Putin, Donald Trump's pal, attempting to overthrow a legally elected President, and destroying his people. Zelenskyy has done so much for Ukrainians. He's a hero in my eyes. If Putin harms Zelenskyy, he had better go into hiding. It would bring the wrath of Europe on his head. Russian people and soldiers don't want this war.

As a human- this is distressing to see and hear and unsettling with emotions. As a mother- this is heart wrenching. Things like this hit so much differently now that I am a mother, and not only that but a mother to small child close to these children ages. It’s nauseating to know these parents and families are suffering like this.

I spent months at a Children's Hospital with one of my children, this journey these people must take is yet another deep heartbreak coming out of Ukraine ~ trying to imagine this is unreal! May peace and well being return soon!

@@jollygreengiant6232 Last 3 POTUS: Obama- Focused more on the middle east, there was not a lot of tension when it comes to Russia Trump- Was more lenient towards Russia Biden- Currently doing sanctions against Russia, supplying Ukraine with some military supplies Now I'm not into any of these presidents since I'm not American and I think all of them are shit in their own ways, but they were ultimately either not really obligated to do anything drastic towards Russia or doing anything drastic as of now such as offering a no-fly zone would potentially cause WW3

I don't know how Arwa can go from war zone to war zone and not be overwhelmed with sorrow. I'm grateful to her for having the courage to show the rest of us.

She could very well be like some medical personal, we often care deeply for our patients and when we lose one or something bad happens to them we go to the med room to cry and get ourselves back under control if we can't hold it in till we get home.

Ukrainians enjoy good and sensitive care in Poland, children are covered with medical and psychological care. The government is preparing a law that facilitates access to medical care and education, as well as social assistance such as Polish citizens. Thousands of Polish citizens are waiting for them at the station to take them home or to their accommodation. Schooling is organized so that children can go to school and learn. Trains that will take them deep into the country are waiting for them at the station, and local governments are preparing accommodation for them. thanks to the grassroots initiative of thousands, thousands of ordinary people, it works fantastically well. On the spot, after crossing the border, everything is waiting for them, including toys for children, people who organize activities and games for children, refugees can even top up their phones. Refugees don't have to pay for anything.

I would just love to know why people like you blame others for what's happening in other countries. For some reason you think the US is suppose to be Superman for every country. The US does not need to send our people into every country because they have a dictators that's running over the people. What does need to happen is the people of these countries need to rise up and take control. There are more of you then there are dictators, fight for your country or you will have to live under the savageness of who's leading it. Even a rock can be a weapon, use the weapons you have at had and take control.

This hurts me. I hope Poland and Romania take these children they don't deserve this. If anything take good care of these kiddos.

Poland is taking good care of these childen, and we're trying to help more. Everyone in my family, my friends are devastated watching what is happening in Ukraine and on our border. We cry everyday, and I see that so many people in my country are trying to help one way or another (they open their homes for refegees). Ukrainian people need our help and support.

This is so heart-wrenching. God be with the families!!

An RN too and what this DR has achieved is remarkable. Logistically what a nightmare. I wish I was closer to Europe, I’m in the Pacific and it’s the other side of the world for me, but if I could up and leave here to go and help escort and assist with my medical experience of 25 years in order to help these children and their families or help those injured or dying on the front lines I would leave tomorrow. This is breaking my heart into so many pieces.

Out of all the stories I've read and watched over the years this one really has me fucked up... I'm so glad I saw this.
