Creating textured collage papers on the gelli plate

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Last week I visited the annual tulip fields in Abbotsford BC. The colours and textures of the flowers inspired this week's hand-painted papers; along with some items found in my kitchen junk drawer.
Ribbons, elastic bands, corrugated cardboard, old house paint brushes and bread bag clips are just some of the items I used to create textured papers on my gelli plate.
These papers will be used to make my next series of 'Petite Paper Paintings'; 5 x 5 inch mixed media collages for my 2024 100 Days Project.
You can read more about the project on my website: tamaragrand.com/2024/02/04/10...

Thanks! I'm going to be sad when this weekly focus is finished... although I do have a new venue to show them at later this summer. So perhaps more are in my future?
