Hey Matt ! Thanks for the great content. I've just pulled the trigger on this pack and I really llove it. Like at the end of your video, I made a composition that I rendered to put in my powers bins, but despite that it still detects it as a composition. What would be the problem here? I've added a sound effect and a solid color, but I don't know if that would help?

Guys, thanks so much for this video. It made the difference in deciding whether I should purchase this. Since moving off from Adobe premier, I've been looking for some good intro replacements for our tech channel. These tutorials make it so much easier to navigate the Davinci Resolve Space. Thanks.

Are we not allowed to use SVG file formats for the logo? The hilarious thing, I went around learning how to deal with the node system this week for implementing vectors within the new 'shape" system, only to learn when I use this plugin, SVGs don't work. But PNGs do lmao

It's due to software limitations, we will be working on it in the future.

Ok, Matt, you've highlighted another MotionVFX pack I really "need." Love the way you've demo'd and described it here. @ about 9:40 where you Render in Place to save the effect, you mention the need to choose a Codec that will save it as an Alpha. How do I learn which Codecs do that and are compatible with whatever my video res/FPS might be? Or is there no choice and the one you chose is the only one to use? Can you tell I'm a beginner with Codecs as well as DaVinci Resolve? Of course, that's why I'm a MotionVFX customer, right?! 😁 Thanks for another great video.

Hey, thanks for checking out the video! DNxHD only supports up to 1080p and doesn't preserve alpha. So I rarely use this. DNxHR, however, can export up to 8K and preserves alpha. You'll need DNxHR HQX 12-bit or higher (444 10-bit/444 12-bit) if you need alpha. And of course, higher quality means more information retained and larger file size. I opted for DNxHR 444 12-bit here to avoid banding in the gradient. DNxHR HQX 12-bit also would've worked fine and given me about half the file size. This will export whatever frame rate your timeline is. Alternatively, you could export an image sequence with alpha support, like EXR, which is pretty great overall. EXR retains alpha and handles half-transparent pixels very nicely (unlike PNG). You can choose RGB half for a nice small file size. Keep in mind, image sequences create an image for every frame so it's helpful to organize them into separate folders (which is why I didn't bother in this video). And since an image sequence isn't technically a video is has no frame rate. It will simply playback each frame at whatever frame rate you import them into. Hope that helps!

Would love to buy but to expansive (or not enough fx) for 4 logos for me, better doing myself with fusion. I regret, as that there is yet a -40% but not for dvr 😔

@@motionvfx so if I convert my logo into a 3d logo do you think I could then take that 3d logo and use one of the cinematic logo revealers on that 3d logo? Even better yet do you have something I can buy that does both?
