File folders are great to store stencils , stickers, & scrap book paper. Put labels on each folder.i.e. animals, floral, script, farm, holiday, solid colors, etc.

Gosh I needed this. If you saw my craft room right now you would think it was an episode of hoarders and I don't say that with ANY pride. It's very embarrassing. I have a lot of potential projects that consume the space. This is giving me ideas of how to tackle my problem. Thank you.

Love the paper storage. Wouldn't of thought of using a kitchen item. I'm enjoying my space more that most of everything is organized. I used to get frustrated when I couldn't find something I knew I have. Can't wait to see the rest of your room.

I watched Connie earlier on this afternoon, I’m actually looking forward to everyone’s organisation videos to get some super ideas to organise my craft space. from the uk ,kent just out side London brilliant and yes Sarah can , my work room is omg i will take video its bad bad v bad to the max ,im a professional sewer curtains home furnishings etc but i get board and mix media and design everything ,a cold winter sent me indoors in 5 months i used my work space as a overspill thats and thats being kind , i have fabric thread machines everywhere its terrible i had to sit n take stock of the chaos id created so im watching as im sorting ,iv got shelving to go in thank god ,,,,thank you for posting x

Ha ha omg mine is 😳 what happened here then ..... 😅 it can't be helped iv been sewing for 35 years and iv yet to find a salutation... we need so much to create a perfect project then clearing up hmmmmm "does this mean tidy ! Put away !! " lol every chance we need it ... I took to using trays anything that had 4 sides ,,, u know uv a huge problem when u keep finding them ! And when we can't find a thingy we buy another cos we need it ... I'm using my living room and sorting my workroom ...I keep finding the trays I sorted and organised 12 of them with needles bobbins cottons Scissors, seam rippers sewing feet 🙈 I have too much .... and fabric SCREAM I could open a shop I kid u not ,it hurts to think of getting rid of my supply but I have to pity I'm not in the US ,I'm still watching and frantically organising I'm doing a knole sofa high side in next few weeks and chairs xxx

Just subscribed. This is the most real journey I’ve seen. I’m in your exact same place. Stuff was organized but now it isn’t. I’m using a den that has a closet as a craft room. But get this, my dining room area is another craft space so the table is my craft table. The walls house more craft stuff. It’s just my husband and I. My large kitchen has both a kitchen table and a large dining table that seats 10. Wish I could show you. Are you in the Phoenix area by chance. Thanks for the extra motivation. Pulling stuff out and then designating a proper home for it seems to be the way to go. My biggest obstacle is my 12 x 12 paper pads and collections.

I’m still working on keeping things organized!! For the paper packs I’m thinking about using an old shoe “dresser” from IKEA that I’ve had forever and I think it’s just the right size! My scrapbook paper is currently organized in a kitchen pan lid organizer I found on amazon and it’s working for now… I’m so happy that you found the video motivating!! I’m in Chicago so I can’t stop by unfortunately 🥰

I just love watching others work hard. You have such a great space .. love the paper organization and it looks good too. tfs

SAME!!! I always have to dig in those deep cubes that you are using! They are great for tall stuff but I put my lace in one of those and EVERY piece I wanted was a the bottom! 🙄

Love your channel thank you for sharing I need to do this to I have 2 bedrooms living room completely full plus I started putting stuff in my moms room my mom passed away a month ago and I just don't know how to function my husband passed a couple years ago and so did my dad they were the only family I had left so it is very hard to get with the program so thank you for sharing and god bless

Congrats on the label fix!

Also on your bookshelf, cabinet keep an empty basket, or bin to put things in as you're filming to be put away when done. Don't use it, except temporarily, to make room on your craft table when filming.

IF … IF!! … it stays temporary, that’s a good idea. BUT, as crafters / part of “life”, we know how one can interfere with the other! (As I craft in my kitchen, everything pretty much HAS to be stashed away pronto or food prep would soon trash my goodies!

Ooh I like your wrapping paper beside you in the hanger it looks like a pop tray from dollartree but I know its not, it looks to sturdy lol 😅

I did some organizing today in my craft room/office. I have things grouped and next I have to figure out how to get them organized in a way that I can get to them easier! Plenty of great ideas here! My problem is that I have a craft room but I drag everything to my kitchen island to craft🤦 (Because there is SO much room there!) TYFS 🥰🥰

As I have NO craft ROOM, I, too, craft in my kitchen. It’s a far better space for the purpose, as the lighting is good from both the under-cabinet lights and the overheads, and water is right to hand for cleanup, etc. Maybe it’s time you clear out any and every item you have stored in your kitchen that doesn’t get used daily, and store THOSE items back wherever your crafting goodies are? In my case, I DO have a “pantry” that has a couple of the short “Michael’s cubes” on wheels (one is my “color cart” = inks, colored pencils, stencil pastes, etc.; one is tools = blending brushes, tape runner refills, a lot of misc. - hmm … time to re-sort!!) plus a couple of the shelves I dedicated to my paper, bigshot, and half-sized cardboard “file boxes” I’d long ago bought at Hancock Fabrics that were designed to store dress patterns; they house (1) all things “Embossing” (e-folders, e-powders, etc.); (2) all Dies; (3) all Stamps; (4) Small Paper Pads, Craft Foam, Tape Runner overflow, etc. My problem with these is, although they are to hand, it’s not easy-peasy to take them down each time I need to access them. And, too, the STAMPS are the worst dilemma!! I have GOT to get them stamped out and put the images in a binder, so I’ll k n o w that that “FLORAL STAMP set” also has “Fairies” !!! 😱😩😵‍💫🤦🏼‍♀️
