Elysion is so much more than just a tribe quest location. We're seeing the birth of a whole new STAR! Look down and you'll even see it has it's own aetherial sea too. Really makes you wonder, what new walks of life will call elysion home? Will they have their own heroes too?

@@shadowzach00 I'm not sure that will be something we see in our lifetime or for a few lifetimes for that matter. Stars arent born in an instant. Like other planets, they take *_years_* to form. Whether that's a few or a few BILLION. But at the same time, thats also the message of FFXIV, Doing what you can in your life's span so that those who come after may be handed to torch to run with and pass on too.

The Omicron questline made me genuinely emotional. Returning hope to those who had lost it all, and destroyed themselves in their despair... It's amazing how a seemingly silly side quest can hit you so hard. It's why FFXIV is one of the best games ever made.

I love the contrast between this and "Close in the Distance". Whereas "Close in the Distance" feels like the last embers of hope in the face of overwhelming despair, "Cradle of Hope" feels more overtly hopeful. We've overcome the despair that had formerly plagued this place, and now the hope that we carried through our hearts will cradle the new life from these long-lost civilizations that have found a new home here.

Thematically its the same hope as "Close in the distance", unextinguished even before waves of despair, it burns undimmed and grows little by little, fanned by those who never gave up to light the way for those who have

i wanna see Meteion return to Ultima Thule and see how much we fixed some pieces of it.... and finally give her the hug i think she needed all along. Oh and for the cafe to serve candied apples.... it would surely activate alot of neurons.

I was hoping the Bloodsworn quest would involve Meteion returning to Ultima Thule. Maybe if Meteion ever gets re-introduced to the MSQ we'll be able to see it.

I just want to see Meteion return and finally give her the hug she needed all along period. She does seem to be alive at least in bird form back on Etheirys so maybe in 7.0!🤞🏼

The Omicron quests really are the perfect capstone to an expansion all about hope.

So much “new found hope” vibes in this version of the song, compared to the previous which sounded much like hope was lost😊

I love this kind of music, it seems to fill the room. It sounds vast, like space, and makes me want to go there and find new worlds.

I always end up crying when I come to this zone. Second chances, folks.

I love Close the Distance so much but they really, really should have made the instrumental or especially this the final Ultima Thule theme after one finishes the MSQ. This song would be perfect for the whole zone or just the Omicron areas, it reminds me of a hopeful end credits.

This place is my new favorite spot in 14, and by God the music is going to make me sob.

I had bgm off cause I was sorta burned out of the Ultima Thule song and I didn't hear this till yesterday and god I love it so much. So calming and relaxing.

Doing this tribal quests after doing all the yellow side quests for the dragons really made me appreciate it more

I am in cafe rn in tokyo studying my japanese and remind myself how much how much i loved this quest line... Im tearring up a little bit and want to feed myself with this hope i created on that little stars. I wanna be happy, i want to hope for a brighter future for myself and i want to keep feelings emotion as use to have back when i was playing ff14. Video game and music saved my life. The Warrior of Light saved a lot of people. Whether it be in the midst of carnage or before they were even born. But the only people they couldn’t save were the dead. They could only be avenged and remembered. Here, that changed. The Warrior of Light saved even the dead and granted them a second chance at life using their boundless ability to give hope to others.

Relaxing to the point of putting me to sleep when I'm tired. Beautiful. Just the sort of BGM we need after the insanity of Endwalker as the WoL helps turn things around at the edge of the universe.

From tragedy and sacrifice, we rise to great a new dawn… That’s the message this song gives off.

Man, I'm so glad I decided to give tribal quests a try, I mostly have mixed experiences with reputation dailies and grinds in MMOs but this ALWAYS felt worth it to experience these areas, the music and the cute little storylines, this one and Pixies got me very emotional and I adore them for making this so ridiculously good

It always helps with the tribals that you only have to dedicate a couple weeks to cap them, and it only locks collectables and story rather than “you need this gear”

FF14 seems committed to challenge or at least subvert every MMO convention it feels. My friends and i have often called it "An RPG you can play with everyone" more than an MMORPG
