VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Devon and April backpacked the world together, visiting different continents and working in various places for over a year. During their travels, they realized that they hadn't seen much of the states. They also learned about van-life and were intrigued. When they returned home, they began to look into different rigs and were drawn to ambulances because they knew their goal was to travel rather than spend time building and so much of the ambulance is already done for you. They found a 2002 Ford E450 ambulance, spent a few weekends in the Home Depot parking lot making it work for them and have been on the road for 6 months. They're obviously doing well because their next venture is Alaska!

Best comment I've ever heard: we spent the day at Home Depot and worked the whole day in the parking lot, and nobody ever disturbed us!!! What a wonderful idea!!! Tks, tks, tks!!!
I worked in an ambulance for 30 years. They are much nicer the way you make them. Please keep up the great work. Where do you keep your spare tire? You’re going to need one.
This is just awesome! I just saw my first ambulance build a few days ago..... this all started with viewing tiny homes and now I just don't know WHICH direction I will follow! Oh boy!!
If you didn't have any skills before hand you shore have them now. I would love to see your next build. Genius untapped you can do far more than you know. Be blessed on your journeys

Sure looks like you folks are living the life. God Bless and be safe
Nice built.. I appreciate the honesty on not wanting to build cabinets.. not everyone have the skills or access to tools, Glad it didn't stop you two from going after it.. loving it!
I love the way this lady speaks! So much expression in her words & facial expressions! Makes her videos exciting to watch.. They seem like a pretty awesome couple! Very cool. I love their little home
Keep enjoying life to the fullest.
"Analysis paralysis", lol. Such a great way to say don't over think it.
I've always wanted to live in an ambulance. One of these days, but for now I'll live vicariously through folks like you. Great job on the build too!

Thanks so much. Check us out on Ambo Life!
I love this. Especially the pass through door which is great for safety at night.
Fantastic! I am so glad you kept the cabinetry that was already there. It makes no sense to me that people rip all of that well built cabinetry just because it looks "medical" or whatever. I mean, you already paid for it. I like the changes you've made. Well done all the way around. Ambulances are the way to go imo. Bob Wells has one now, so 100000000% they are gonna go up in price and be harder and harder to find. Also, great videos of builds like yours will make it harder. But it's because it works so well and makes a lot of sense.
This couple is so awesome. They balance each other out and their built is cool.
Looks homey and practical. I love this style of conversions more than the picture-perfect, high-end, Instagram-worthy ones. I wish this couple several happy years in their rig and one day perhaps a small (not necessarily tiny) home as a permanent base and many more adventures in their converted ambulance.
what a great couple..... sounds like they got it going on.... wonderful
I really like this build. Keeping it simple and taking advantage of what the ambulance had to offer. Makes me think they're actually awesome choices for a relatively simple RV makeover
Awesome couple and awesome ambulance conversion. One of the best I’ve seen. Many great ideas 💡 ❤️😎👍🚌🎶🎥🌎🤓 thanks for sharing and safe travels
Super cute couple so nice ,what a great Job they have done. 'This is were we put all the SHI.....stuff we dont use' :)

Lol, novices, more like folks who want a vehicle that could last, most RV’s are made badly, they look great, but once you start moving them around they start to come apart. And not everyone wants to put 20k to 40k into a build. Tiny homes are about saving space, using less resources, and saving money! Yet many now cost over 25k to over 100k, the same price as a full size house! Ambulances are pretty much ready to go when you buy them, if you want to gain more space, sure you can take them apart more, but having to do all those upgrades can get very expensive!

Novices? Wow, can you show us your amazing build? I have an ambulance, too and a cargo van - the "novice" remark is so inappropriate; this is all about how much you want it done and what you need. Don't for a second undermine this brilliant couple's skills and effort who have built an incredible home for themselves by calling them "novices".
These two are so sweet. I already subscribe to their channel. Great tour. 👍
WOW! Fantastic build; great design details; excellent outcome! Kudos to this couple on their project and best wishes on their adventures.
Building in the Home Depot parking lot, wow. How many people can say that. Saves money on gas not having to go to town. I bought mine a couple of weeks ago and now I am overwhelmed what do I do now, but I made up my mind to just go one day at a time. Love your attitude I subscribed and want to see more, be safe.
There is always room for Cello! Such a great conversion. Congratulations
Iove your "Analysis Paralysis", it is Pure Gold! As are all of your design ideas XX
Such a beautiful couple, such lovely hearts and ambo!💕

You both do great on your communication skills. Thanks!
Talk about an amazing couple! I now know that I can camp out at Home Depot! lol Beautiful home! I can only imagine all of the adventures they've had around the world! Thank you for sharing.
Dang, the storage and shape of the space looks really nice to work with. And those vehicles are built to handle a lot.. very cool.
such a cool build. My wife and I are looking at converting an ambulance as well and you guys have given us some great ideas!
....loving all the wood/mountain vibes...sooo cozy...really epic example of prioritizing what's doable/important and then getting on the road...will head over to your channel...
Very nice I really like the warm hommy feeling of the wood. You too are so cute together and seem so sweet. Enjoy your life, stay healthy & happy
We lived in our ambo for six months, and learned more about what the next version will include. That's this summers project!
Love you. You sound like a great couple who knows what counts. Really enjoyed listening to your video. Thank you-thumbs up.
I'm really impressed and inspired! I've been thinking about buying an ambulance, but was so overwhelmed with the thought of having to tear everything out. I love how you left a lot of it in and just worked with it. So cool!
'Miles" haha I get it, great name! How cool to do the build in the parking lot of a Home Depot....very smart! You guys are great...what a beautiful home you have created....wanna hear The Mrs. play that cello, though. Safe and Happy Trails!
This is great, also thank you for water storage been looking for stainless steel n didn't know about hackery filtration either👍🙂♥️🙂👍
This is the best ambulance conversion i've seen, it's so homely. safe travels.

Great build out. I really like when she showed us her rack. That fridge sliding tray setup is sweet.
Very cool home guys! I love the wood paneling. It looks warm and cozy. Totally got rid of that cold clinical feel and made it HOME. Best wishes and have all you fun you can find!
Just a thought. The space where your inverter is. Maybe build a shelf across, IDK ? Seems like a hole there where you could use to fill in something. It’s really a huge cabinet with most everything on the back wall and not very tall equipment on the bottom. Make a cabinet in the cabinet? Great job guys! Love your design! Maybe in that spot you could bring in your Instant Pot? 👏🥰💞🏵
Love the fact that they built it out in the parking lot of Home Depot! But if they decided to not strip out the interior were they able to insulate the vehicle...which seems imperative for a stay in Alaska while they work???? I may have missed something.
What a beautiful couple and a fantastic lifestyle! I wish them the best!!
Bucket toilet NEXT to the fridge.... I cannot IMAGEN having that even for a day! For the rest: CUTE! Nice couple.
Beautiful rig, and "Miles," is a great name.

Hey! I think it’s genius doing ur build at Home Depot or wherever. If u need something, ur there. 🤷🏻♀️
Where was this filmed? I cannot help but notice all the other skoolies and other alternative homes.
its a nice build. it is interesting that both of them have speech problems, I wonder how they met.

@@RaggyJha she stutters/double speaks and he I am not sure but almost sounds like he may be deaf or partially deaf. btw I am not saying anything mean towards them just that it is interesting that both of them do.

Kimberly.Sandalwood I don’t think he intended to be rude. But he is right, they both spoke very well for the interview and that’s only because they were so comfortable while interviewing with me.

TheKrazysinner yes, they said that as long as they didn’t have to do anything scripted and just be themselves then they were pretty good. Which was true, I don’t do anything scripted anyways. So it worked out just fine. They are a lovely couple.

@Kimberly.Sandalwood You know Kimberly. Curiosity leads to awareness , understanding and acceptance through knowledge. Education and exposure to differences leads to the realization that we are really all the same living life. Without the condescending; awwwww, aren't they cute bless their heart stereotype. Asking a simple question and getting a matter of fact answer dispels any preconceived notions and life goes on as it should with brotherhood.
How do you find the process of crossing from Canadian/US and US/Mexican borders?
Who are they? They are adorable!
Did you guys enjoy going through 🇨🇦 Canada?
